No. They're normally £19.99 and occasionally increased to £49.99 to comply with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
A few minutes searching previous deals here shows it was £17.99 just over a month ago and similar versions have been £15-20 for the Christmas season almost every year for the past 5 years.
Sorry, OP, no disrespect but you've been conned by less-than-honest pricing into believing this is a bargain.

When my miss' one "broke" she went and bought a new one same day. Says best she ever used and vital for daily use, apparently.
Opened the old one and changed the bulb, no longer broken

Picked one up yesterday for this offer price, better than the old version of the mirror and the light is far brighter. Heat added!

Everyone with counteroffers then saying "not illuminated" gtfo. You have no idea. Might as well just say get one from Poundland then.
You aint seen nothing until you've squeezed that ripe ol' blackhead at 5x magnification in glorious bright light!

I returned one today as the plug arrived broken. Bought a replacement at the lower cost as they had an offer of £10 of points for every £50 spent, plus my Nationwide credit card had 10% cashback on purchases of £30 or more, upto a maximum of £10 cashback. Spent £101, got £20 in points and £10 cachback.

If you have the time, just pop in charity shops. It's not difficult to find a mirror like this for hardly anything eventually. Okay, granted it won't be illuminated but come on.

I'd say the £49 buyers were conned. Ask for refunds, or class action (wait we're not US...)
But for under £20 these are great mirrors.
