Having bought 2 of these in the past I can vouch for how much you DO need one of these if you haven't already. Not a single fault after years of use, design to suit any taste, and you'll never know your own face as well as you will with this mirror. Dual sided for magnification and standard view.
This year they have introduced a DIMMER SWITCH tempted to buy a new one for myself for this new feature.
I'm aware this was posted a month back at £2 cheaper (then raised to £50) but this price sticks now we're in the Christmas season and at £30 off this is still a huge deal.
£19.99 each and every Christmas time.
"• Normal, plus 5x magnification
• 360° lighting around the mirror makes it perfect for make-up application and grooming
• Dimmer switch to help you control the lighting to what you want
• Swivel motion to postion your mirror at various angles
• Standard UK 3-pin plug
• 2 year guarantee"
Free C&C after 12pm next day if ordered before 8pm at Boots.

Sorry to bump this, but does anyone have any good recommendations for a bedroom/LED light mirror for a teenage girl studying makeup? More for a vanity table or on a wall.

Paid £19.99 in Dec 2012. Daughter still has it although light no longer works. Guessing it's just the bulb that needs replacing.

Thanks, I needed something like this for the bedroom where the lighting isn't very bright!

got one in store this week, always wait for this price before I buy one - did notice it said 'improved design' on the box so hope that means a dimmer!

I see this mirror uses the standard 3 pin plug.
Do any come with the standard bathroom 2 pin plug? The ones used for shavers and toothbrushes. Assuming they can be powered like that. I want to encourage my girl to use it there or else it'll be the first step to losing the bedroom dressing table completely :smirk:

Mine was £14.99 when I bought it too. Also, don't buy the light bulbs from Boots! 'Status' refrigerator bulbs work perfect - 89p for two from Home Bargains, for example!

larger (maybe 15cm?) with taller stand (great position on window ledges or dressing tables), sturdier swivel stays in place unless moved by hand, lights give you the clearest view of face that I've ever seen! And with the new light dimmer this is all the better as you can get the right lighting to see your makeup etc clearly. Simply put, 5x and 7x makes no difference, you will see much clearer in this even if it is less magnification as it is a brilliant quality slightly curved glass and fully focused especially with lights to help the strain on your eyes

never seen it below this price, was surprised to see the deal a few weeks ago at £18. Besides that, having bought over multiple years the designs are getting better year on year
