just how big do you think the work bag is? 3ft by 4ft or something? irrelevant post as usual
i dont think there is a single person on the forum that really cares what you think about the 3ds as you jump on the deals with your inane drivel at every opportunity
if one day you did actually make a point itd be just like the boy that cried wolf
Great deal. Not surprising to see deals like this with the Switch coming.

The 'save20' code does not work on Click and Collect though, so it costs £120.
Edit: this was with the online code, there's now a voucher for printing out to take to store which works.
I do wonder if the £20 off and £15 gift card will both apply for C&C - only one way to find out ......

T&C for £15 voucher:

Click & Collect orders need to be purchased in-store by 17th November to qualify for the Gift Card deal.''
T&C for £20 code

I have the same issue.
I am thinking of printing the voucher as an instant photo at one of the tesco/asda terminals. I imagine they just need something physical to put in the till as evidence for the discount
noahsdad
29 Oct 16#35
If you have a work bag, your obviously an adult and the extra 50grams to have a 3DSXL is not going to strain your back. Your work bag does not sound very good in all honesty, you maybe wanna look out for a new work bag deal
3DS mainly seems to be used by wee kids and toddlers, wee hands and all, but that's another issue if they should be having such tech at such a wee age, dunno what is wrong with Duplo.

Not entirely a like for like comparison that is it? Your talking about a different time and consoles that have been superseded several times. The world has moved on, along with technology and portable gaming.

29 Oct 16#52
The 3DS XL is not 3ft by 4ft. Just how big is it you think it is who knows? I posted valid comments about the 3DS being an inferior option to the better and more practical 3DS XL, thus highlighting is not that amazing a deal considering it is old tech. As seen with the 2DS people will buy anything just because its a slightly cheaper option.

Not happy. Reserved yesterday and have just come back empty handed after being told my order could not be completed due to 'computer errors'. Obviously staff didn't bother acting on the reservation and since sold out. If you have one reserved phone first to check they have actually put one aside for you, their reservation system is merely a member of staff going out onto the shop floor and picking up the item off the shelf.
cicobuff
29 Oct 16#55
Did they not release a DSi XL? Yes obviously the world has moved on with tech and portable gaming but nobody certainly complained about the sizing of those consoles even pre DSi XL. I don't feel your counter argument here holds any weight.
Pre anything announced regarding a 3DS XL I have a ltd edition Zelda 3DS console, I do not feel it is any more cramped/designed for kids only than any previous iteration of similar sized consoles I have named, so therefore a justifiable like for like comparison.

Yes I'm an adult in the job i do i have alot in my work bag so dont be so quick to be a smart a**e ... Also due to size of 3ds xl (not weight) seemed obvious when i said due to lack of space,
As usual have people trying to spoil others deal or belittle others.
As i said your opinion on whats best and not personally a handheld console should be handheld 3ds xl is a fairly big handheld I've owned both also have a 2ds but thats peoples choice.. However 100.00 for a 3ds console to slip on side the work bag is cheap!
So I'm sure others will agree its a bargain and that your comment was snotty as usual have the hduk better police commenting

They told me they had to have a copy of the voucher to put in the till when I showed to to them on my phone!!! Luckily the manager stepped in and said he might have some copies of it which he did, otherwise they were saying I'd have to go and find somewhere to print lol, seems silly since they allow people to pay by card without putting anything in the till, and plenty of places allow you to show vouchers to scan on your phones.

How to get the discount + £15 Toys R Us voucher
1. Add the Nintendo 3DS console to the basket
2. Add a cheap item here that's available for C&C, can be found here:
http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/browse/toys/_/N-102329?Ns=P_Display_Price%7C0
An example of this can be this item here, as it needs to be over £100 in order to receive the £15 voucher:
http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/forever-friends-it-s-a-boy-foil-balloon/0089821
Ensure to bring the £20 voucher in-store for the discount to be applied. As it's over £100, you will receive a £15 Toys R Us Gift Card. Voucher is here:

Edit: this was with the online code, there's now a voucher for printing out to take to store which works.
