The rules for this promotion are quite simple:
1. Must be a full moon
2. Underwear must be worn inside out when exchanging points for vouchers.
3. Add up the total number of letters in the name of the department you want vouchers for. Multiply by 3.56 and subtract the number of days before Christmas and then add your shoe size. This is the maximum value you can exchange.
4. All vouchers must be used within 45.7 minutes else they spontaneously combust.
5. The Nigel Farage autobiography is excluded from this offer.
Good luck and fair weather..

Last year I bought a load of MOG's when this promotion was on and made a killing on ebay.
No issues with exchanging more than allowed, just did it in different visits.

It's ok but the limit of £40 per department is ridiculous as most items in Electrical and Entertainment are overpriced anyway. For wines etc it is probably a decent deal.
"Only one voucher can be issued per department per Nectar card. This means that the maximum voucher you can exchange is 4,000 points for £40 in each department"
No just this email, clicked on it and came up with the thank you message - didn`t go to Nectar site

My two local stores wouldn't give me more than one voucher at the same time. A couple of staff told me they knew it was technically possible but that they had been told not to do it. Instead they said I could go back the next day and get one. Annoying, but I wouldn't call them jobsworths in this case.

22 Nov 16#409
Previous times the promotion has run I just went to exchange desk and asked for 3x £40 clothing vouchers and they just printed them no questions asked. Life is too short for multiple visits to different stores :disappointed:
jcvanshazam
22 Nov 161#408
I went round a few different stores at different times and served by different staff. Supermarkets are full of jobsworths so I try to minimize any risk of them scuppering my best laid plans.

Well I am just looking to do some exchanges in the next 30 days once they start putting some "savings" back onto their stock and not the bloated prices they had running for the double up period
m1chaels
22 Nov 16#405
Previously I have exchanged for the full value on clothes when the 25% was next on.
Went tonight and had a jobsworth who would not give me more than one voucher in each category :disappointed:
And no profit on returns plus no multi video games to trade in seems like a dead loss :disappointed:

The policy is very clear and had been from when this was introduced few years back that any refunds made will be credited to original value of nectar points on a Sainsburys Gift Card. It is the same with Tesco double-up where in they refunded the original value of Clubcard points on a Tesco Gift Card. Ideally both should have allowed to add the points back but seems to prevent abuse of Customer Service manually adding large number of points both have disallowed that. If some stores are providing full refund on Gift Card, it simply means the staff member is not aware of the refund rules for Double-up as there is no restriction on the system as Tesco/Sainsburys do not retrieve the transaction details during refund process unlike ASDA.

The double-up suggests £20 = £40
Sainsbury's are overpriced by £10 - so you are not really doubling up, more a third up - which is meh. The nectar site often has good redemption offers. Black Friday and cyber Monday is approaching. Patience, Patience , Patience.....

21 Nov 16#384

There is nothing about returns. I imagine this booklet was designed so every till point could have one and customer services will have separate instructions
SubaruWRX
20 Nov 161#363
Yes, mine did exactly the same and I just come off online chat with Nectar who said technical error on the till. I was planning to go back this morning to use another £20 = £40 value but I can't as it took £40 points for £40 wine yesterday. I said will they get returned before the promotion ends? Was told asap. If they are not, then I expect £20 extra points put on my account to compensate.
NCIS
20 Nov 161#362
If you look at the receipt they give you when you get your double up voucher, it shows they deduct 8000 points (£40) but then add back 4000 points (£20). So it maybe just the adding back of the points hasn't shown on your account yet, which can take 24 to 48 hours.

Here's the pertinent pages from the key information for colleagues booklet. There's not really any excuse for them not to know what to do as it takes seconds to refer to it. It actually includes the suggestion of purchasing a 5p bag if to make up the shortfall. Guess it comes down to poor management/training.
smallandsweet
19 Nov 16#358
Yes it does, it only excludes gift packs with alcohol in. I doubled up £10 worth today and got a large toblerone, a Ferrero Rocher Grand (that one's for me ) cadburys biscuit assortment, festive shortbread, Cadbury tree decs, and Christmas Crackers! 0p to pay!
Also doubled up some points on clothing and homewares.
May go back tomorrow without the 7 year old so I can concentrate

I don't know what you can spend , but you only need to spend 50p in entertainment , then the other 45p-50p can be anything else:-
Terms:
Where the difference is more than 50p, then additional
goods from your selected category must be purchased
so that the full value of the Nectar Double Up voucher is
spent in one transaction
.
Where the difference is between and inclusive of 1p and
5p, the balance will be given as change.

17 Nov 162#315
Just to clarify, as a Sainsbury's employee who spent the day issuing vouchers;
If your goods are 5p or less than the voucher, we can round it up via the till so you don't have to buy anything extra (if you want to be a smart ****, tell them to go into the Double Up PLU group, last option). I've heard of people giving the actual 1p-5p as change but we're not actually supposed to/prompted to, and the tills won't balance, but each cashier plays by their own rules sometimes
If your goods are 50p or less under the voucher value, you can buy anything to top it up, doesn't have to be in the same category. Might be exceptions for cigarettes/scratch cards/all that kind of stuff.
Refunds have to be given as cash, and at full value. We used to have to refund half (so what you originally had on your Nectar card) onto a gift card - for whatever reason, we're never supposed to refund Nectar points - but that was deemed too confusing
kag8
17 Nov 16#314
Carrier bag trick didn't work, bought ps4 charging cable for 3pd, that worked.
I made sure they had the wine in stock that I wanted and put it in my trolley before getting the voucher.

17 Nov 161#310
I think the best thing to do is find what you want then ask for a voucher. That is what I did.
m.ad
17 Nov 16#309
It doesn't matter - the transaction value needs to exceed the voucher. The day before I bought lunch with the game and it went through fine, no questions. The staff will insist it needs to be used on Entertainment (this used to be the case), but if you are a couple of pence out will be covered with whatever else you are buying.

They are a bit clueless. Want to get an electric toothbrush. Had a look at the section and choose the one I wanted. It was £20 so spent £10 of points and got the £20 voucher. Went off to do my shopping when I came across in a completely different part of the store a different toothbrush, far better quality which was selling fo £40. Off back to customer services who insisted that I wasn't allowed to give back the first voucher and then purchase a new one, also not allowed to get a new £20 and use two.
I had to buy the original one as couldn't waste the voucher. On the way out spotted a man wearing double up t-shirt who was a manager to informed me CS were just plain wrong. Then had a long wait for them to take back brush put points back on, take points off, issue voucher and sell me new brush. I did check about getting another entertainment voucher when one had already been used. He informed me that if I went to another store they couldn't tell I had already used one.

First they said get a chocolate bar (rubbish) then told I couldn't get it because it was less than £40, I politely read the T&C's they had on display to them, fortunately someone else there did know what they were doing and showed the others how to use a voucher round up option for 1p and bingo it went through ok (although I didn't get my 1p change which technically I should have got according to T&C's). Sometimes you may find it "easier" to use the self service check outs, the vouchers won't scan, but if you have a helpful operator they put it through by simply entering the voucher amount and thus by passing the till validation (this may help more where people are having issues where staff can't tell what's in and what's out)

17 Nov 16#299
So not just the Wigan store that is not following their own T&Cs which clearly state that if you are between 1p and 5p short then they should just give you the change. If they argue then ask to make a charity donation for the difference. That's what the member of staff suggested when I was 2p short of the voucher amount.

Glad you all had luck, I had a nightmare. Doubled up on toys, went to till with 5 toys all Starwars from toy section, voucher wouldn't work they said one must not be a toy but couldn't tell me which so cancelled transaction. Bought a bluetooth speaker at £30 went to pay, it had been reduced to £20 but not marked down on shelf .... Another trip to customer service. Bought Christmas crackers, Christmas napkins, Christmas table cloth and Christmas decoration, voucher didn't work as one item wasn't Christmas again they couldn't tell me which wasn't as they were all Christmas stuff from Christmas aisle, trip number 3 to customer service. Never again!!!!!

Just been in to get another copy of Watch Dogs 2 - got my voucher fine, but when I went to pay for just the game, the till refused as I was a penny short. Checkout guy called supervisor, and was told I had to spend 1p more in Entertainment. I asked for a 5p bag but he refused, insisting that it had to be in entertainment. Went to another till, asked for a 5p bag in advance, and the voucher went through fine.
Just a heads up in case anyone else gets caught out...

Buy the most expensive one. Keep the game sealed, and hold on to the receipt. If a game tanks over Black Friday, exchange it for another after the promo has finished. I did this in the Easter promo to buy the Force Awakens Blu-Ray, which was released a week after the promo finished - bought The Martian and exchanged it

17 Nov 16#294
Last time they had the promotion on I used a £2 off £20 till spit as well as double up voucher.
I would make sure you handed over the two till spits first before the double up voucher, so the spend is at least £20 when they scan the coupons, before the double up takes the value of your shopping down.
sca1972
17 Nov 16#293
I've just used a £3 off a £20 spend till spit along with a £40 double up voucher. My spend was £42.98 for two PS4 games and the till wouldn't accept the double up voucher as after the £3 off voucher my spend was less than £40 so the guy on the till added a 2p charity donation to get it to go through. I'm sure last time if your purchase was short by just a few pence it accepted it and you got change, up to 49p I think. Off to read through the latest T&Cs.
EDIT - Just checked the current promo T&Cs and it states "Where the difference is between and inclusive of 1p and 5p, the balance will be given as change. This change will be applied against any other goods in your basket or, where no other goods are purchased, given in cash." So the tills are wrong in the Wigan store at least. I'm not bothered about the 2p going to charity, but to suggest that you can't use the double up voucher without spending the full amount doesn't match up with their T&Cs.

It states in the leaflet anything in the seasonal section is included apart from advent calendars. Mine had all the usual, sweet tubes, coins, boxes of Christmas biscuits, the big tins of chocolate, ferrero rocher, the £2 boxes of chocolates, loads! I bought 3 boxes of celebrations at £2 each, 2 sets of gift tags at £1.50 and wrapping paper at £3 in 3 for 2, handed over my £10 seasonal voucher and had to pay 50p. My argument is try it at the till. If the till refuses the voucher then the items you're buying aren't in the offer. Mine worked, I had 3 all go through no problem. The store I visited had a large seasonal section and there were banners sticking out along the aisle to say they were included in the double up. The gift ranges like unicorn stuff and Disney/marvel also had the banner up. If you get any issues point to the magazine that states anything in the seasonal aisle

Question for those in the know. Have been given three X-Box games which are wanted.
Call of Duty - Infinite Warfare
Titanfall 2
Battlefield One.
Every year I wait for this double up to use up my Nectar points on XBox Christmas presents. However every year one of the games I buy is then vastly reduced on Black Friday thus cancelling out any benefit of having used Nectar Points. Its normally one of the new games which isn't selling well.
Anyone any clue from the three above if they are likely to be the one reduced due to poor sales?

I have picked up a 12 month PS+ subscription with previous double up promos. It isn't a regular gift card that needs swiping to activate so I don't think it gets put in that category.

I'm glad some others are thinking along the same lines but, just to clarify –
If I've already doubled-up £20 to £40, and used this voucher on a game... am i then able to return tomorrow to double-up another £20 to £40 to spend in a new transaction under entertainment/gaming, or is it literally one voucher per department across the entire promotion?
rooney10
16 Nov 16#268
I think its just down to the way of thinking at each store , like I said our local store just asked us how many we wanted but were keen to make it clear that we could only spend 1 voucher per transaction.
The One per customer stated on the voucher will just remind people that they can only use one vouxher off their total spend on that department.
If it actually meant that you were entitled to just 1 voucher max per department then I am sure they would have the system setup to prevent multiple vouchers being issued in any given department.

Well I did get in my local store just after 7am today. I don't think smaller town stores will stock these. You want the larger out of town stores. To be fair the product was released on 14th and some may have bought the product anyway without double up Promo. Sainsburys were doing a free calendar with the DVD version. £25 is a difficult amount as it means you have to spend £5 more on something.

Picked up GOT blu ray boxset for £15 worth of vouchers. Was only one on shelf. Albeit they had plenty DVD versions.
Was thinking about the shaver they had on website but they don't appear to stock every item in store. Still got best park of £100 worth to use. Could try some of these game trade ins. They don't sell PC games.
The main issue is most items are cheaper elsewhere. So you need to be careful on prices. TU clothing is an interesting one to go for. Albeit some lines will be half price in the sales.

Nectar Rewards Double Up frequently asked questions
What is Double Up?
From Wednesday 16 November – Tuesday 22 November 2016 you can exchange your Nectar points in store for a voucher that’s worth double its usual value at Sainsbury’s to spend on products from six selected departments. For example, you can redeem 1,000 points (normally worth £5 at Sainsbury’s) for a voucher worth £10.
However you can beat the queues and pick up your voucher a week early between 9-15 November 2016, to spend in the main event. Simply visit your customer service desk to exchange your points.
How do I take part in Double Up?
Between Wednesday 16 November – Tuesday 22 November 2016, visit the Customer Service Desk at your nearest Sainsbury’s supermarket (excludes Sainsbury’s Locals and petrol stations) and exchange your Nectar points for a £10, £20, £30 or £40 voucher to spend in your chosen department.
Make sure you spend your voucher by 22 November 2016.
Please be aware, if you haven’t shopped in this store in the last year, you’ll have to call the Nectar Helpline at the Customer Service Desk before you can proceed.
Terms and conditions apply
What can I exchange my points for?
The seven departments that are included are:
•Tu Clothing
•Electricals
•Toys
•Entertainment
•Taste the Difference: Wine, Champagne, Sparkling, Sherry & Port
•Homeware
•Seasonal
Your voucher is only valid on products in the department specified on the voucher. When you exchange your points for a Double Up voucher, you need to specify to the cashier at the Customer Service Desk (or designated till) which department you would like your voucher to be for and what value you would like the voucher to be.
What value vouchers can I get?
There are four types of Double Up vouchers that you can spend your points on:
1.Spend £5 worth of points (1,000 points) and receive a £10 voucher
2.Spend £10 worth of points (2,000 points) and receive a £20 voucher
3.Spend £15 worth of points (3,000 points) and receive a £30 voucher
4.Spend £20 worth of points (4,000 points) and receive a £40 voucher
How many vouchers can I get?
Only one voucher can be issued per department per Nectar card. This means that the maximum voucher you can exchange is 4,000 points for £40 in each department.
When do my vouchers expire?
All vouchers expire at 11.59pm on 22 November 2016 (subject to store opening hours) and must be redeemed by this date. Once vouchers have expired, they have no value and cannot be redeemed in store.
What happens if I lose my voucher?
We understand that sometimes things get misplaced but it’s your responsibility to keep your vouchers safe.
What if I have exchanged my points and got a voucher, but it won’t work through the checkouts? What’s wrong?
•Have you spent at least the value of your voucher in the relevant department? The maximum spend per voucher is the full value of the voucher e.g. £10 for a £10 Double Up voucher. The minimum department spend per voucher is 50p or less than the full voucher value e.g. £9.50 on Tu Clothing for a £10 Tu Clothing Double Up voucher.
Please note if you redeem your voucher at our Crawley store we regret that for operational reasons, the minimum department spend per voucher is 5p or less than the full voucher value e.g. £9.95 on Tu Clothing for a £10 Tu Clothing Double Up voucher.
•Is the voucher still valid? All vouchers expire at 11.59pm on 22 November 2016
•Have you tried to use two vouchers as part of your shop? Only one voucher can be redeemed per department per Nectar card.
Some products included in Double Up could fall into more than one department. What if I’m not sure which voucher I need, or I get confused and ask for the wrong voucher?
You need to spend your voucher in your chosen department. You can ask our colleagues in store for help or use our in store leaflet to find out which products fall into which department.
Can I exchange my points in any store for a Double Up voucher?
You can exchange your points for Double Up vouchers in any Sainsbury’s supermarket. However you won’t be able to in Sainsbury’s Locals or online.
Please be aware, if you haven’t shopped in this store in the last year, you’ll have to call the Nectar Helpline at the Customer Service Desk before you can proceed.
Can I use my Double Up vouchers in any store?
You can use your Double Up vouchers in Sainsbury’s supermarkets and Sainsbury’s Local stores where the included products are available. You can’t use them online.
What happens if I want to use my Double Up voucher at a store which doesn’t stock the Double Up products I’m after?
Our store colleagues at the Customer Service Desk can help you find the nearest store that stocks the product you’re after or let you know when the next delivery of your product is arriving.
If I simply spend my Nectar points at the till as usual on the included products, will I get them at the Double Up value?
No, the only way to get double the value for your Nectar points on these products is to exchange them for a Double Up voucher first at the Customer Service Desk.
If I want to use my Double Up voucher but would also like to spend Nectar points for the rest of my payment, or on other items not included in the event, can I do this?
Yes, when you have a voucher, you can use any remaining points on your card on anything else you buy but you won’t get double the value. You will only get double the value on the selected Double Up departments when you exchange your points for a Double Up voucher at the Customer Service Desk.
If I spend points on a voucher but don’t use it, can I exchange it back for Nectar points?
No, unfortunately we can’t refund vouchers with either Nectar points or cash. Once the points have been exchanged for a voucher, it’s considered that the points have been spent.
For any further Nectar Rewards Double Up queries, please speak to our colleagues in store or contact the Nectar Customer Helpline on 0344 811 0811.

This isn't entirely true. I do all of my shopping in the main store near where I live, but last time this offer was available they didn't have the items I wanted, so I nipped to another town and got what I needed straight away with no hassle or questions.

I'd like to buy for my double up voucher printer but my question is - could I do it online? On Sainsbury website if I search for printer, is re-directs me to Argos website - will I be able to redeem my voucher ONLINE buying at Argos?
Or, if I can't use this voucher online - do I need to exchange points for voucher exactly in the store I will do the purchase or in any store is ok?
Thanks for clarifying

13 Nov 161#186
I'm sure the till won't take more than one voucher from each category. It beeps and the cashier can only hand it back to you. You can use one entertainment voucher and - say - one clothing voucher in the same transaction because they are different categories but not two vouchers from the same category.

10 Nov 16#161
Sounds like a nightmare way of doing it and - like you say - what happens when you don't have the points available to be returned?
Did they give you a receipt to show what points had been taken/returned? I am in the same boat - initially have enough points to allow a redemption of 8000 points for a £40 voucher (and get 4000 back) but that will soon change as I spend the vouchers!
Hopefully this will be ironed out when the thing starts on the 16th. Might not exchange any until the actual day.

9 Nov 16#160

sag
9 Nov 161#159
Yes went in tonight. I thought my first issue would be them knowing you could get vouchers early but there was signs up and when I went to customer services they were trying to work out what to do from their instruction booklet. Boy did they struggle, it has changed a bit this time which I think is going to cause them a real headache. So if you want a £40 voucher previously on the double up it would debit 4000 points but now it debits 8000 (the same amount of points it would cost to spend £40 when not doubling up) but in the same transaction it gives you 4000 bonus points. So the net impact on your points balance is that it costs 4000 points for the £40 voucher. Now how many people managed to follow that, it was worrying the staff because it was showing on the till that it was taking 8000 points. I can easily see them thinking it's wrong and putting it through at 4000 points and you'll end up getting a £20 voucher - good luck! I think there will be another twist as well, it won't impact me because I have a lot of points but if you only had 1000 points and went in expecting to get a £10 voucher I suspect you wouldn't be able to because the till would need 2000 points to be able to complete the transaction and you wouldn't have enough points (I could be wrong, this is my theory, would be interested to hear if this does impact anybody. Technically this feels like they can no longer call it a double up reward! I haven't tried yet getting another voucher in a category I already have a £40 voucher for (I will next time I'm in), what I did do was get 4 x £10 entertainment vouchers in this one visit, they did hestitate and try to find the T&C's (which from my reading of them suggests they are only allowed to issue one voucher per category irrespective of value). What this does show is that there is no check in the system based on the number of vouchers issued in a category against a given nectar account which makes me hopeful that there is no total value check either.

I don't think pinklepnkle is the official Sainsburys Hukd Representative. Therefore your frustrations regarding making the deal clearer as to the t&c's and what seems to be allowed in practice may be best dealt with by the company running the promotion , which in this case is Sainsburys
I'm extremely thankful to Hukd and its members who post stuff like this as , like yourself , unless you know someone who has done this then you would assume , given their T&C's that it was not possible to get multiple vouchers for the same department.

That's the quoted line from previous years too , in reality you have been able to get as many as you like providing that they are not all bought at once (1 a day / per store) , some have even reported getting multiple vouchers per store in the same transaction.

I got my points from the American express deal , worth £120 in Nectar points and doubled up value of £240 ... worthless ? Methinks not.
I spent £2000 on my new American Express card - I planned to buy a TV anyway and plumped for a deal off here for a 65" Samsung UEKS8000 from Currys at a silly bargain price of just £1800 (£1690 after TCB) .
On top of that it , along with a little grocery shopping we were buying anyway we reached the £2000 spend to trigger the promotion of free points worth £240 in the double up !!
Oh and I got £36 TCB back on the Amex card as well , lol.

From T&C's below can be done in any participating store, as others have said bit of a pain if they need to check your nectar manually.

For all those that amassed 8-9k+ in Nectar points from the point give away last week this is the reward. £45 turns into a £90 spend.
For me spent £80. Got £45 back in points. Now I have £90 to spend. So if every thing was at full price that is £170 for £80 spend. Of course you have to spend the voucher fully on said department. E.g £40 you must spend £40 or above.
Many things will be much cheaper elsewhere so you do need to be careful. GOT season 6 is released that week in November. So should be nice. Normally reasonably priced on release.
Not too worried about £40 limit on each department. See what actually happens.

24 Oct 16#58
I think the confusion about multiple vouchers relates to when you actually spend them. As its been expained to me (by a member of staff) then yes, technically you CAN exchange £20 into £40 more than once in the same department but lets say you do this 3 times and get a total of £120 in Electrical vouchers for example, then you wouldnt be able to buy one item for £150 and use all 3 vouchers (£120) on that one transaction. The tills won't accept 3 vouchers for one transaction, however you could buy 3 items at say £50 each and use one voucher per transaction.

24 Oct 16#57
Agree, lot easier than going through the nectar helpline (straight forward process anyways, unless you don't know the answers) and less time consuming.
You just need to have swiped your nectar card in the store you wish to double up in, in the past year.

I’m going to buy a couple of items of clothing which come to £60. Whoopee, I can use my nectar points to get them half price. Oh no, there’s a £40 limit, so my clothes cost me £20 of points plus £20 cash. = £40.
Wait! A week after the nectar double-up finishes, there’s 25% off all clothing. So my £60 spend will come down to £45.
That's not true. The only time one might have problem is if you have never used your Nectar card in any Sainsbury stores prior to the exchange they would need to call Nectar Customers Services for verification.Apart from this reason, you can exchange your points for voucher in any participating stores.

Sainsbury's are overpriced by £10 - so you are not really doubling up, more a third up - which is meh. The nectar site often has good redemption offers. Black Friday and cyber Monday is approaching. Patience, Patience , Patience.....
What do you think is the best offer for nectar redemption on the nectar site please?
Anyone else have experience of how they're handling returns?
Yep - for a present, not for me :smirk:

Terms:
Where the difference is more than 50p, then additional
goods from your selected category must be purchased
so that the full value of the Nectar Double Up voucher is
spent in one transaction
.
Where the difference is between and inclusive of 1p and
5p, the balance will be given as change.
£45 of points well spent
Sweet deal!
EDIT: So I've looked this up and I guess my balance would go into negative and any future points would go towards this.
Not worried about trying to return for a cash refund, already have an order with Cex so I will get £36 each.

So we got 5 bottles of wine, a bottle of port, and some milk/pasta for a tasty £1~
Only caviat is you must have shopped at store 2 within the last year (correct me on the timeline of I'm wrong, it maybe 6months, can't remember!)
Just a heads up in case anyone else gets caught out...
I would make sure you handed over the two till spits first before the double up voucher, so the spend is at least £20 when they scan the coupons, before the double up takes the value of your shopping down.
Have a 800 points on £20 spend, and 6p off fuel on a £20 spend.
For the last few double up's I've stocked up on the boxed PSN credit and used that to pay my yearly sub
Call of Duty - Infinite Warfare

Every year I wait for this double up to use up my Nectar points on XBox Christmas presents. However every year one of the games I buy is then vastly reduced on Black Friday thus cancelling out any benefit of having used Nectar Points. Its normally one of the new games which isn't selling well.
Anyone any clue from the three above if they are likely to be the one reduced due to poor sales?
Spend 5 on a toy had 56 yesterday today 51 so no luck here
If I've already doubled-up £20 to £40, and used this voucher on a game... am i then able to return tomorrow to double-up another £20 to £40 to spend in a new transaction under entertainment/gaming, or is it literally one voucher per department across the entire promotion?
The One per customer stated on the voucher will just remind people that they can only use one vouxher off their total spend on that department.
If it actually meant that you were entitled to just 1 voucher max per department then I am sure they would have the system setup to prevent multiple vouchers being issued in any given department.
The store was Garthdee Aberdeen City.
May I ask how people are saying they you get get as many as you like? Do they log what department you get them for so you can only get one?

Or, if I can't use this voucher online - do I need to exchange points for voucher exactly in the store I will do the purchase or in any store is ok?
Thanks for clarifying
Points spent today 2000
I only had 1326 points !
It includes "gifting in the seasonal aisle" but NOT any gifts there which contain alcohol.
I'm extremely thankful to Hukd and its members who post stuff like this as , like yourself , unless you know someone who has done this then you would assume , given their T&C's that it was not possible to get multiple vouchers for the same department.
Fill ya Boots
Spending the vouchers is a different story as you can only use 1 voucher per transaction.
Only one Nectar Double Up voucher will be issued per category per Nectar card during the promotional period.
Happy Days
I have £140 to convert to £280 so 7 vouchers in all , can get to warrington branch and wigan branch quite easily but may only manage 2 trips in the promotion period.
The rules, the rules!!!
This is why I've got 6 trillion points. Have not been able to navigate the Crystal Maze of Nectar point redemption successfully.
https://livewellforless.sainsburys.co.uk/nectar-double-up-categories/
Apologies if already posted.
We got 3000 points during Swipe and Win = £15 usually, £30 on double up.
"To ensure that your Nectar balance is recognised at your selected participating store, we recommend that you have swiped and earned Nectar points at that store within the preceding 12 months."
See what actually happens.
i think you will need the physical card
just order a replacement will arrive before the event anyway
also, can the entirety of my £18.50 be doubled up, or is it a bit like Tesco where it's got to be too the nearest£5 i.e I can only double up £15 of my balance?

You just need to have swiped your nectar card in the store you wish to double up in, in the past year.
Wait! A week after the nectar double-up finishes, there’s 25% off all clothing. So my £60 spend will come down to £45.
