I know it states 14Mb/s but mine average 25-30Mb/s. My Grixx one started with very fast speeds but once it got hot it throttled down to 20Mb/s anyway... Which stick would you vouch for?

Got one of these. Have to say it's painfully slow - to the point where I don't use it any more. I'm sure there must be some use for it, but at the speed it writes I can't think what tbh.

I guess it depends what value you put on your time, but this one is going to be painfully slow for most purposes.

Even at the lightning deal price that's a third of this ones price more expensive.
Sighhh.

Definitely not 10x faster + lightning deal will expire pretty soon + lots of awful rewiews due to overheating issue... pretty useless comparison
Got a link to one 10x faster that's not all that much more expensive please?

Got a couple of these drives. Plenty fast enough for me. If I transfer a large file I don't sit there watching it I just go make a cuppa or browse HUKD.

Fair enough, if it's a single file that's actually not very large. But this is a 128GB stick. At 14 MB/s, it will take around 3 hours to fill it up. That's at the best write speed. Lots of small files will take much longer. There are other devices that are 10 times faster, but not all that much more expensive.

I am chuckling, but everytime it has been posted, it has been cheaper than ever before! Cheaper, but no longer fast.
