Is this not a better deal with 7 add on packs for £2 extra?
pretty sure it always dicounted as long as you owned the digital version of minecraft on the 360.

So long as this is Disc based your kids should be able to use it just fine, however I would occasionally connect it up to the network to download software updates for the Xbox One and for Minecraft itself as it is regularly updated with loads more content!

If you've already got it on 360 check the online store first as its usually heavily discounted to people upgrading from a 360.
