Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delivers a dynamic game environment where the player orchestrates their personal plan of vengeance as they bend Mordor to their will. The game begins on the night of Sauron’s return to Mordor, as his Black Captains brutally execute the Rangers of the Black Gate. Players become Talion, a ranger who loses his family and everything he holds dear, only to be returned from death by a mysterious spirit of vengeance. Based on the player’s actions with the in-game Nemesis System, every enemy encountered is distinct and can evolve to become a personal archenemy through the course of the game. As Talion’s personal vendetta unfolds, players uncover the mystery of the spirit that compels him, discover the origin of the Rings of Power and confront the ultimate nemesis.

I got the Pre-Owned delivered to Game store deal recently and still haven't collected! That was £7.99. Is it worth it for a bit more to get the Game of the Year edition?
Oh just checked and it's now £17.99 :disappointed:

Thanks for the reply, so I'm guessing it has it's own seperate trophy list. I might consider getting it again then as the bells and whistles added for the pro would be nice to see through out the game, plus it's a fun and great game was at original release I played it so should feel fresh again by now  Cheers.

Already got the platinum and sold the original version, does anyone think it's worth re-buying for the DLC? as tempted for PS4 Pro support.

Got the GOTY edition but yet to actually play the DLC. Haven't read great this about the DLC though.
Don't know if you consider this good or bad but it warns you that the GOTY edition isn't compatible with saves from the original version so you'd have to start from scratch. It does mean you can go after the trophies again and get a second platinum if that's your thing.

Isn't £15.95 also a pretty decent price for Mortal Kombat XL? Somebody needs to keep me away from Base at the moment. They have a fantastic range of Vita titles at great prices too.

Great price for a good game. Looking forward to the improvements they'll no doubt be making in the (unannounced) sequel. Nemesis system is by far the most interesting aspect of this game. Combat is ok, I preferred the long range stuff with bows over the button mashy (press triangle now) of the melee combat. Overall a great game, worth £12.95 for sure.
