Saw these in store yesterday , medium ones are good size for 75p and the large ones were £1.50.
Everything gets earlier every year but some people may want them now.
Medium ones online, couldn't find the large ones online.

They had them in store for a week... But I need some in between... Their medium I would have called small and their large ones are too big.. Hoping asda etc will get some soon!

What do people use to carve their pumpkin? I've tried small kitchen knives and are too big, I've tried the cheap carving kits, but they always snap. Was thinking of maybe a dremel tool, but can't justify £30 for just once a year's use!!? All help appreciated

Saw these instore today, and they had a best before date of 7th November, but I really can't see them lasting that long. Better to wait a couple of weeks, then buy, but don't leave it too long as they'll have nothing left by the last week of October.

A sharp knife is all you need our kids can manage it so can't imagine why you would need to use a drill. Just hold the knife correctly so you don't cut yourself.

As I said, knives are too big and I'm not looking for an end product that looks like your kids did it! I'm looking to do one with nice intricate details.

That's why I didn't know why knives didn't work you never mentioned you wanted it intricate but you have never seen the ones my kids have done either

You won't get intricate with a drill, use a small sharp knife. Although for the kind of thing you mean maybe buy one of those little shaving things people use for pumpkins?

For anyone who hasn't tried it, pumpkin soup is really nice and very filling too!
Don't waste the flesh from the carved pumpkin it will feed a family - for even greater value !
