Bought the deal as described plus staff discount £12.50, the wine is fizzy white and I found it very palatable, chose cod fillets and the pork, the cod is a bit small so we had cod fillet for starter then garlic mushroom pork medallion with salad for main, fresh fruit salad for sweet for me and profiteroles for wifey, all washed down with vino frizzante, what a lovely Saturday night and it's not over yet

Worked perfectly for me this afternoon, plus got a tiny additional discount on the Gastro cottage pie with the Sparks offer.
The wine was not near the Dine In section, but down the other end with the other wines in a two for £12 bit as mentioned. To clarify: it is only two of the wines in the attached pic that will work! :smiley:

I too thought they were four different wines and bought the Terre Siciliane which didn't work. That is a hell of a long name for just one wine. Can anyone post a photo of what it looks like?

This worked for me in Grantham, frizzante wine and total was £15.75. I don't know how to put a picture of my receipt on...if someone tells me how I can do

This works with some of the beers as well that are three for £6. Got two dine in (four beers) for £18.80, not as good as the wine reduction but still alright. Would be interesting to see what happens if you add two more beers (cheapest possible for max saving) as it may also trigger the 25% reduction on six.

This is because the wine is in the offer for 2 for £12 AND also on the DIF TWO meal deal.

You CAN still discount the alcohol (down to the minimum duty + VAT), but only on the one bottle.

That's why when, say, Rekorderlig cider is on special at 3 bottles for £5, generally speaking the supermarket in Scotland will just price the single bottles at £1.66/£1.67.

I think this is an offer on Sparks cards so make sure you have it and scan the card - valid on the cottage pie too.

Did you buy 2 meal deals and both the same wines as described above? The wines have to be the one in description. The only reason this works is because the wine is in the Dine in for Two AND on the 2 bottles for £12 offer

Different stores have different wines they don't have a list that's valid for all stores anymore

If you get staff discount look instore and see which is on 2 for £12 if your there already

There are different wines dependent on what store stock is and holds

As others have said, this glitch will never work for us in Scotland. It's not the minimum alcohol price though, it's the multi buy deal bit that doesn't work.

You can't get 2 for £x deals up here any more.

Trust me - that's is one wine. I bought it today and it worked.

It's not four different wines i've literally copied the description from the bottle and receipt and you need to buy 2 of these bottles with the 2 meal deals for it to work. Sorry I wasn't more accurate.

Just nipped out from work to check the deal out. It appears that it isn't on in Scotland. New deals started on Wednesday and it is a 3 for £10 and another one I am not sure about, but not the meal deal that is being talked about. Always feel left out in Scotland.
