It's £10 for 2 - although you take the items home to cook and eat.
You could cook the chicken and potato croquettes on the back of their fridges where it's warm and set a table up in the middle of the aisle - be prepared for some strange looks though.

Sent the wife to get 2 meal deals as there is an M&S near where she works and the products for the starters don't match the description.
The Chilli crab cocktail is described as Orkney crab with chilli prawns and a creamy dressing, yet in realty is a tub of crab mousse. I was expecting something similar to a prawn cocktail.
Even worse the Poached salmon terrine which is described as being Scottish Lochmuir salmon terrine, topped with oak-smoked salmon and hand garnished with a soft cheese mousse and king prawns is again just a twin pack of terrine, no king prawns, no smoked salmon topping or soft cheese garnish.
Unfortunately the wife isn't much of a foodie and so didn't think anything of it. Very disappointed, it's a good job the other courses made up for it. Unless of course she picked up the wrong items!

If you buy 2 of the asparagus sides it takes another £1 off, as there is a 2 for £3 off produce offer that kicks in as well as the other ones.
So buying 2 mains, 2 x rarebits (£2 off), 2 x asparagus (£1 off) and 2 x Pinot Grigio frizzante wine (£3 off) makes it £14 for two deals after all those discounts have come off.

I kid you not, this was like fire water - a closer inspection of the ingredients should have flashed up a warning - 2% Brandy and 18% "Alcohol", jeezo, whatever that entails.....
Irish Coffees are the same, 2% Whiskey and 19% of this generic "Alcohol". Scared to try them now, esp as the wife is moaning about 2 bottles wine she could have had lol.

The bottled beer option is a bit cheap. I used to see it advertised as 2 bottles as part of this deal but I no longer see that in my store and it gives the impression that it is a single bottle of beer.
Even if 2 bottles are 2 bottles of beer equivalent to a bottle of wine? I would have thought that 4 bottles would be the equivalent.

The Glitch is when the wines on the £10 are also included in the wine of the month (buy two for £12) and then the discount is also applied to the £10 meal deal usually making it £8.
Because they no longer publish the wines on the deal it's impossible to tell without visiting the store.
I think they've done that because they have the cheap & nasty plonk they put next to the food, but there's a second list of wine they call the reserve list which is part of the deal, but on the wine shelves in case the plonk runs short, this is the better stuff and is worth sniffing out.
