They don't as far as I know. It's the spreadable Lurpak with the added oil and water that comes in the tubs that are sold in the 1kg size. That's not even proper butter as far as I'm concerned.

To the OP, at least you didn't get people who can't even discern the difference in weight/quantity and the spreadable fan boys over the block types coming and trying to wreck your thread like I did on my 500g Lurpak block deal last week from Asda.

At the moment in morrisons it's £4 for the 1kg pack of both the slightly & unsalted lurpak butter good stock up for Xmas if you have the room

Solution - cut the block into two. Leave the one half sill in wrapper in the fridge, the other half in the butter dish - out the fridge.

Just paid £1.40 out of Sainburys for the same one. Wish I looked on UkHotDeals before I went shopping. We'll never mind I will pop up to Tesco and pick up a couple to stock up so I don't get caught out with a silly price again. Heat from me xx

Only problem with the 500g block is it's impossible to fit into a butter dish :neutral_face:
