All done an ordered!
Got it! Tested out the box seems to sound fair for Music over B/T with Spotify, not installed for TV yet due to plastering.

Sounds good! Glad to be of help.
Also.. I was wondering why the sound is not so cinematic from the soundbar... but if you set the soundbar on Cinema preset, the sound seems to be a lot better, a lot more pumped. I just leave it on Cinema mode now and play everything on that mode. Sounds a lot better. The bass is a lot nicer and the sound travels much better. Just a tip!

Yeah, I don't see myself using the USB (ever) mainly TV usage (I have the Sony BRAVIA KD55X88509C deal from HUKD) So will be via Optical (which I own) I agree for the sake of 10% off i think it'd be better to get the John Lewis one even for the extra year guarantee alone and I prefer John Lewis over Tesco as I got my Apple Watch from them extra year guarantee too - I've never had issues ever with JL.
Thanks for your help! I will go for the LAS355 model once John Lewis response to my Price Promise request. :-)

There is a small chance that John Lewis do reject it but just reply back to them saying it is the same model but different retailers just call it a different model. That is what I had to do and then I got a reply back saying okay we will honour it.
It is only worth paying for it if you really are going to use the USB port as that is the only difference. So only if you can see yourself plugging in a usb stick or something into that port.
I have my TV connected via optical, so anything I watch on the TV now comes through the soundbar. It has an aux in port which you can connect most other external devices, and there is of course bluetooth which you can use to stream from phones, tablets, etc. I don't really see myself even using the USB port much, but as I was paying £79 for either, I went for the LAS355 to have the feature in case I do use it. Also John Lewis give you a 2 year guarantee. I like the service of John Lewis as well. Technology sometimes tends to spring up with a fault of some sort and it normally happens after the 1st year so having the 2nd year is always a nice piece of mind to have.

Ah okay thanks I asked them to provide me a model with a wireless sub so i don't have a link between the sub an the sound bar but never mind i've the walls fitted with channel so can just hide it anyway :-)
Still waiting on John Lewis at the moment, they might reject online as they will see model numbers aren't the same? No John Lewis local unfortunately think it's about 3 hour drive.
I can get the LAS350B for even less than £79 (10% off Tesco) is it worth the extra for the 355 model?

Ha, I believe that when LG are saying wireless, they are probably saying its got wireless connectivity e.g. Bluetooth to connect devices to it. Both models have a wired sub to the sound bar. Believe me 100% as I have physically tried both models. Both models also have the wall bracket. Literally the only difference is the USB. Everything else including what comes in the box is the same. The remote on the LAS355B is slightly better as it has USB playback buttons as well.
FYI - If you have a John Lewis near by, you can also just pop in and tell them you are price matching Tesco, and they will do it on the spot and amend the price. I got the email from John Lewis saying they will honour the price match but I have a John Lewis near me which had stock so I popped in and they just sold it to me for £79.00 without even checking the Tesco site or asking to see the Price Match email.

at this price its better than any budget soundbar plus the sub is wireless, I agree the bass on the sub has to be turned down from max as it rumbles too much, the soundbar itself is fine for movies or TV shows, if you want to bang some bass for a house party then buy a sonos system

Someone else said wireless ha
Hi! Thanks, I'll submit a price match now.
Ah, LG said this LAS350B has no wall bracket (but can buy one not sold by LG) an the sub is wireless.. damit haha I'll do a price match an buy it if they approve.

Yes that's the one. John Lewis will price match it to the LAS350B from Tesco, making it £79.00.
The sub is wired on both versions. I have bought both the LAS350B and the LAS355B. They are both wired subs. Everything is ditto. Only difference is the LAS355B has a USB port which you can use to play music through via a USB stick etc, whereas the LAS350B has a blocked off USB port which is for service only. Everything else spec-wise is the same. Both include a wall mount bracket.

FYI - I purchased the LG LAS350B from Tesco and its great. For the price you pay and what you get its very good.
I later discovered that John Lewis sell the LG LAS355B which is exactly the same but has a USB port as well (LAS350B only has a service USB port which is blocked off).
John Lewis price matched Tesco so picked one up for £79 with 2 year guarantee. Will be returning the LAS350B to Tesco.
Overall a great soundbar. Highly recommended!

This one for £89.99? Seems sub is wired with this one than wireless but this one includes a wall mount bracket?
Haha thanks - does anyone have any suggestions in terms of the going for the LG or the Philips and why..

Tempted to go for the LG as I have an LG TV so would match up well. Its not a very new TV so doesn't have bluetooth on the TV etc. Now in 2 minds about going for the LG or the Philips. Reading up reviews on both and many people saying that the sub is overpowering and adds too much bass?
Now stuck between the Phillips HTL2163B and this. Going to be using it with a projector via Bluetooth to avoid wires. Anyone able to sway me one way or the other?

Doesnt appear that the Phillips has bluetooth... this is the major difference I would say so should help those unsure of which to opt for. I got the LG and its nice. Sub woofer is large, but not necessary a bad thing! Any questions do let me know.

I bought a bracket you fix to the VESA mount on the back of the telly.
Subwoofer goes from +5 to - 5, but those numbers are arbitrary. May as well go to 11! (Spinal Tap)

"Sorry, this product is currently unavailable." :disappointed:
Cheers, waiting on stock, should get extra 10% discount too if it comes back in at this price, i see it's wall-mountable is a bracket in the box or? As i'd like it centre below the TV on the wall.
must admit that one looks nicer, subwoofer is wired i noticed at a quick read.

You can easily tone down the subwoofer to your liking. It ranges from -15 to +5. Conveniently it also has night mode so you won't disturb your mummy.

I have 55" Sony HD Android set. The subwoofer is stupidly rumbly. We never use it and so have no bass at all :disappointed:
The bar on its own sounds okay but is a bit lacking.

It's good but I regret buying mine. Not enough bass without the subwoofer on, and then even on the lowest setting the bass is waaaaay over the top if it's on. You don't want your front room rumbling like the cinema during Mr Robot- even when nothing is really happening.

I do have a PANASONIC SC-BTT405EBK 5.1 kit I got from HUKD but it's too annoying to use an want a simple sound-bar.
