Had my eye on a few TVs in this price range for a while and this one has won for me. Has a decent spec for the cash and with Argos reducing it to £479.00 i gambled on a voucher code which was meant for TVs over £499 and it knocked another 10% off. Not sure if i get the 3% Quidco back due to the voucher used, but you never know?
Anyway, the 10% knocked it down to £431.10 for a 43" 4K TV from a decent brand. Decent spec on it too, and has HDR which was a must for me.
Discount code i used was TV10

Many people on this site incorrectly use 'brought' when they mean 'bought'. This however, is the first time I've seen this stupid mistake replicated by a retailer (see pic 1). Shameful.

Maybe to be eligible for the lower price you have to always carry it with you, wherever you go.

You go to a store that sells them to check the picture then buy online.
I'm in the market for a new TV, but buying them online always concerns me since you can't really "see" what you're buying. I guess I could return them after testing the sound quality and picture etc... But it's a huge hassle, if it's possible.
Still, good deal. Heat.

It's not bad looking... I was weary of the LG black ones as they do look plastic, but this in silver is nice. Comes with the wide legs too rather than the LG middle square shaped stand which I don't like either

Yeah, I had thought of that. But there's so many different TVs to choose from, to find a store that sells the one I'm looking at will be fairly tough.

That seems an insanely good price!
And with both 4K and HDR, it's screaming out to be combined with the upcoming PS4 Pro..
Does anyone know what the input lag would be like for gaming on this set?

No, no. I'm pretty sure it means the soundbar will be £199 when you bring it to the till with the LG in one hand and the soundbar in the other.
Special discount for heavy lifting.

Anyone know the width between the feet on the stand?

8 bit panel; might be worth paying the extra for a 10 bit.
Pay attention to the bit that says RGBW Structure - if you do not know what this means and the ramifactions of it then I suggest you research it on a popular internet search engine.

In quick layman's terms though, rather than having 3840 by 2160 pixels devoted to red, green and blue, a quarter of them are white to provide brightness. So the resolution is necessarily dropped by a quarter. It's roughly equivalent to having a HD Ready TV instead of a Full HD one.
Good TV but you can't use the smart tv because ur remote doesn't use the letters!

I personally wouldn't buy a TV without a 5/6 year warranty. I've had two LG Tvs fail on me in the past, luckily I had warranty.

According to the LG website these are HDR Pro which i believe is in line with HDR premium just LG's way of doing it.

LG advertise their 10 bit Panels as capable of billions of colours of which there is no mention here. This is an 8 bit panel.
HDR pro simply means it is compatible with a 10 bit signal. Doesn't mean it can display it. It's a budget 4k telly.

Bought and picked the TV up today! It's a lovely TV! Was in 2 minds about getting it as it will be mainly used for gaming on the PS4, but I'm so glad i got it. Initial impressions are very impressive, even though the PS4 only outputs at 1080p it still looks beautiful. Just make sure you switch Picture Mode to "Game" when using it for gaming, otherwise you get a lot of motion blur. Everything about the TV is lovely, the menus and everything look very slick. Only downside is the from the pics it appears to be an ultra slim TV, but in reality it has a bit of a stomach at the back, so a little disappointed about that, looks like they photoshopped the pics, but no real complaints here. Loving the purchase. Thanks

This is a 8bit plus FRC panel - using FRC to get the 1billion colours rating.
I have the 49" version of this and its pretty sweet with HDR.
Having had the 610v model which was just 8 bit (no frc - 16m colours rather than 1b) - HDR on that was a joke, HDR content looked worse with HDR enabled, the 650v model just doesnt have that problem, it manages really well with HDR content, Im quite pleased with it, not as nice as the £1000+ models but for the money its not a bad purchase at all.
So yes, fake 4k (rgbw), fake 10bit colour (8bit +frc), thats why its a budget TV and in this price range, but its looks pretty sweet imo and if your after a budget TV for your xbox one s or ps4 to enter the realms of HDR, its not a bad buy at all.
anyone know where the voucher code came from, anywhere on the argos site itself, trying to use it with John Lewis and they will only accept it if its on the website or a flyer
