Can't complain for the price, bought one yesterday and it seems to be ok. Screen appears bright enough and it seems speedy enough to cope with most apps.

You can pick one up from CeX for around £70 with a 2 year warranty. If you want brand new, I believe Argos still sell them for £99. Just be careful not to buy the Nexus 7 2012. (The 2012 has the silver edge whereas the 2013 is 100% black.) I've bought 5 of these in the last few years and every one is still working and are as fast as day 1.

No. I don't understand how it has managed to get hot. Terrible screen resolution, inadequate RAM and a pathetic amount of storage space.

Not worth it paid thus for 16gb version. This 2ill have about 6gb available so ok for browsing or only a few bits & bobs but if you've a pile of apps you want installed you're gonna struggle.
Charging port is very fussy over cables, some are loose in it needs a chunkier cable to charge

Cheap price but only 8gb internal storage kills it for me. I know the memory is expandable but unlike Marshmallow you can't choose default storage. Unless I'm mistaken.

I bought the tab 2 version for my grandson and downloaded a lot of children's apps for him and saved them to a folder on the home screen the apps I saved to the sd card dissappear from the folder and I can't find any way to save them to the home screen bit of a pity as the lego apps etc are quite big and you soon run out of space with the 8GB internal storage.

I've just noticed the older Tab 2 has gone up £10 to £59.99 and the Acer 16GB tablet has gone up by £20 to £69.99. Crafty gits.

How are they still making tabs with 8gb memory. I bought my son a 16gb galaxy tab 4 and after about 12 apps and 4 movies (all stored on an SD by the way) it's ran out of memory and I sometimes have to remove something just to update the damned thing

It's not a new model? And if they sold the cheap ones with 64gb of storage, who'd buy the 'decent' ones
