With retail sat at about 170 quid this is a welcomed reduction in price and probably won't go much lower than this.

Thank you Sparkle. Had it honoured today in ToysRUs so I'm happy. Asda is currently selling for £125 thus price match minus £20 voucher = £105 and a £15 promotional gift card and free giraffe lego thrown in :-D

I've never had a problem except where I've tried to show them a print out or photo of an offer. They alway want to see it on a smart phone to prove it's a current price. But of course some stores are better at making up excuses to get out of price matching that others. Definitely worth trying, as it always works for us.

We got Toys R Us to price match in store yesterday when it cost £9 more.
They currently have £20 off voucher on £100 spend, so would make this £95.99, plus free Lego Geoffrey Giraffe and free £15 gift card with any spend over £100 (might have to spend extra £4.01 in this case though?).

Think you were lucky, Well done. Local branches to me always seem to want to weedle out of price matching so doubt they'll match then allow the £20 discount and £15 gift voucher (looking up t&c's says they don't). Would have been a real bargain that. As is, it's £136 on tru website minus £20 with free giraffe ; can't see mention of gift voucher.

Ok so you're talking about *Lego* models not real cars. In any case this is a truck and a good model. It's also not an either/or and if it were I'm sure people have different criteria to go in deciding!

Again quote didn't appear... In reference to the Ferrari being the best real car

The boy just finished building the EW160E and I know what you mean... Great concentration and accomplishment to build it largely unaided at 8 years old and in a day.

125 on 3 for 2 in Tesco. Flog two at 100 and you have it for 50

Nice idea, but you need to factor in some Paypal and Ebay fees, so realistically you'll be looking to pay around £75 - £80 for your set (Which is still cheaper than the current Amazon Price)
