Got these today at 2 local lidl's, one was 1.3kg , another 1.4kg , can't beat for 45p!

Large? I've been to Lidl this morn. This is smaller than the regular Pineapple.

that's pretty cool, but doesn't it wastes a lot of pineapple? I can chop up a pineapple in 1minute or less the regular way.
take it's head/buttom off, so it sits flat on a chopping board, take the knife and just slowly slice the ugly stuff away and it's done.

Only gripe with Lidl stuff (well , maybe not the only one) is that the green veg last a day if you're lucky before going manky. I bought broccoli last week on Monday, came to use it Tuesday and it had turned yellow and had fruit flies all over it

they were marked down from I think 85p to 45p , so must be some other ones you have seen.
