Hot Deal! This is perfect as the new Fries are terrible & full of oil, Can't figure out WHY they changed the recipe as the original ones were great with plenty of gravy, but I'll grab a bag of chips from the local chippy to make a meal of it next Tuesday ;-)

KFC is simply the best chicken I have ever eaten .. The secret coating is amazing

The taste is just too good.. Almost to good to be true.. I once finished two buckets in one sitting (12 pc each)..

In fact, I blame KFC for my repeated failed attempts at becoming vegetarian!

I went to America on a search for the best chicken and on a few days ate nothing but fried chicken - even the McDonalds in New York had 4 different types of chicken wings. It really got on my girlfriend's wick because we had city passes for San Francisco and New York and I was doing routes that would take us to different chicken places before the attractions. Because of this she met Eddie Izzard, but she don't thank me for that, oh no!

Biggest disappointment: Popeyes. Coating the flaky dry type on the wings, a bit like KFC. KFC wings are really bad. And wings are the real chicken lover's choice. And chicken n biscuits?? Awful. It's as good a match as Scones n Burgers.

At the end of the day I found the best chicken I've ever had at the chicken shop called "Tasty" outside Seven Kings station. Wings were amazing, the almost gluey coating that floats between a batter and a crumb, good crisp thin chips and the chilli in the chilli and mayonnaise was the right one. Also the worst chicken I've ever had was also in Ilford - Chester's Way. The coating on the chicken and the wings tastes like gone off fish.

I'll still be taking advantage of this deal, mind!

Coooool story bro.

Can someone clarify something for me..

There's a lot of talk on these forums about excessive KFC causing heart attacks - but is there any evidence for this?

I've always thought that saturated fats have now been shown to be good for the heart (eg cononut oil) and as KFC uses palm oil, this would also apply.

Any comments would be welcome here... Preferably before my second visit of the day to KFC!!

KFC is gross - refuse to contribute to a company that treats Chickens terribly and uses palm oil in other countries.
They are treated better here in the UK and they don't use palm oil here.

But if I buy UK KFC, I'm still contributing to their global profits. I cannot support this company by buying their food.

Just bought this deal. They said u can't request for certain pieces. Omg the pieces I got were soo small!! The thigh pieces were like half the size of a normal piece. Did anyone else get 'smaller' sized potions or normal? Just wondering if it's my local KFC being stingy!

When is the offer end

2 Nov 16 #167
Around by me if you ask for a keel in your original recipe (the best piece IMHO) they look at you gone out and you can't even get the baconnaise sauce on the original recipe stacker because its a halal only restaurant. You get peppercorn mayo instead.

First world problems :disappointed:

I never thought I'd like just fried chicken but had a 10 piece bucket yesterday and I gotta say:

I swear KFC is getting a lot blander, I remember it being slightly spicier. Weirldy the coating on the boneless ones is closer to what I remember KFC being back when pretty much all they did was on the bone in a bucket.
ssb1973
3 Nov 16 #175
I don't see any evidence in the terms and conditions that says it doesn't work on Tuesdays.

Used it recently so it does work (paid £4.80).

Went to local kfc asked for 9 breasts. Was told they only cook 2 breasts at a time. Would take 15 mins to cook as they had none left. Waited and ended up with 4 breasts, 3 legs and 2 side breasts and 2 free fries. Was also given a complimentary drink while waiting, which was kind of them. All for £4.79 (with the 20% discount).

As a homage to this offer i attempted one to myself. They gave me a good variety of pieces.

Managed to eat
2 side breast
2 breast pieces
2 drumsticks
large gravy
Large coleslaw.
Got 3 drumsticks left ohh I feel full.

I've never seen such smaller pieces of KFC chicken, i think their using baby chickens for this deal or they are mixing baby chickens with the regular ones which is very crafty of them.

Just bought 2 x 9 pieces. Got 20% off.

But I didn't get a receipt for future 20% off though. Just a plain receipt. Do you have spend more than £10 to get the 20% off receipt?

16 Nov 16 1 #198
My best mate and I just did the chicken Tuesday challenge. A solo 9 piece bucket to yourself. I cannot manage it, even with my 8 yr old for back up... he smashed it but won't poop for days.
ssb1973

I don't think so, I get the survey receipt no matter how much I spend. Once spent just 1.49 on a small wrap, and still go the survey receipt.
ssb1973

I managed the whole 9 piece on Tuesday, although it did put me off going anywhere near a KFC due to this overdose.
