Absolutely not, this is cheap metal despite being ikea. This video explains good shelving, he has an amazon store which you can click to, but not linking as I am not promoting it but, his points on good shelving. size and engineering matter
Not great .. they do twist and bend after a while.. and the fittings for the shelves are not great.. bought some metal shelving for a little more - one does need to hammer the metal shelf parts together with a mallet but it is much sturdier than these plastic ones

I broke mine putting too much weight on it. Be careful to distribute weight otherwise it easily breaks. Steel ones are much better for heavy objects.

I bought these about 3-4 months ago at the same price . You will need to fix them to a wall with the clamps provided . Otherwise they will not be stable.
They are pretty strong and can take a lot of weight. I have stored hoover, microwave , sewing machine and baby car seat.

I got loads of them from tesco for £2.70 each a few years ago. been in use in my garage, loft and cupboards without any problems.

anyone have these in use? my neighbour said they can bow and twist with the weight, not sure if she means this makes or another brand.
