Wasn't this last years fad? I wonder how many of these type of books have been shoved on a bookshelf never to be looked at again...let alone been coloured in!

I initially ordered 3 but cancelled to order separately to get 3 x £1 no rush credit. However, after ordering 3 separately, it continue to let me order. Just tried again but it won't let me order anymore. I think the trick is to place your orders quickly one after another before the system spots you're ordering more than 3.
I have a 30day prime trial a/c.

I agree - Johanna Basford sells more of these books than ever worldwide!! I'm totally addicted and have a massive collection of over 400 pencils - prismacolor, polychromos, supracolour etc. Its so relaxing!

Oooooo I want some prismacolours, I'm keeping my eyes open for a deal on one of the big sets....
I already have polychromos; which are my favourites , and a set of Marco Raffine's (which are suprisingly good for the price) plus loads of other types of pens and pencils.
Not sure if you have seen; but there is currently a colouring competition running on Johanna's website, you can find it posted in her blog section, it's also on her Facebook page..... It closes on the 17th Oct, and you can win her new Christmas book and some colouring goodies.
You download the online pic (which is a christmassy polar bear), colour it in and then upload it to her colouring gallery..... Seeing some of her other entries I don't think I stand a chance...lol :laughing: but it's a bit of fun :smile:

Prismacolor 150 set is the lowest it's been for a long time on Amazon - go through Flubit and it's even cheaper. To be honest I prefer the Polychromos but there is still a place for Prismacolor. I haven't had a chance to to the colouring competition as I've been so busy recently - got the Christmas book on order. Love watching others colour too - Chris Cheng is a favourite on Youtube - check him out.

There are many good pencils out there but it comes down to personal preference. My pencils of choice are Faber Castell Polychromos. They have rich pigmentation and nice coverage. Prismacolors are nice and soft but can be a bit waxy
I would suggest getting a few if each kind and see which ones you prefer.
