Use voucher code 75OFFIPH7 to knock £75 off the upfront cost.
iPhone 7 128GB, EE network, £25 upfront, 2GB data, 1000 mins, Unlimited texts, £33.49 per month (£828.76 contract cost)
Seems like a decent offer, seen more expensive prices for the small 32GB model. 2GB of data isn't a lot but it's fine if you're near WiFi a lot (which most of us are).
All colours available, see first comment if these links disappear like they did last time I posted.

I just hoped that Apple would be reasonable with the pricing for the iPhone 7 and its 3 year old design.
In addition to the fact they pay 0.5% tax through Ireland for U.K. Sales.
But no, "Brexit" has made them increase prices even after acknowledging that the phones cost between $200 - $270 to make.
At what point did we become mindless zombies after knowing all this yet we still go out out way to purchase there goods.
Blind allegiances sworn to brands......sad times.

Remember also if you need more data you can easily increase the data by moving to a higher tariff (5GB for £35.99) with EE once you've taken out the lower value contract. Just remember once you increase it you can't decrease it again.

On EE data simply stops when used up and only starts again if an add-on is purchased.
It's the same when abroad for data.
All normal calls are included unlimited.
Other costs cannot be capped so turn off MMS and make sure chargeable numbers for calls / texts are not used.

The £ is worth less than it was. Has nothing to do with tax.
For the Base iPhone 7
In UK you pay £599
In Europe you pay £684.03
In Australia they pay £672.61
In US you pay £532.40+tax (different for each state)
We're not getting a bad deal. The weaker pound has caught up slightly but we're far from getting a bad deal. Can't (or shouldn't) expect Apple (an American company) to spend more money because we made a decision that weakened our currency.

Samsung also increased their prices with the S7 range. Google will be charging £819 for their equivalent 5.5 inch 128Gb pixel phone (funny that's exactly the same price as the 7 plus 128Gb.) Every manufacturer increases prices with a new phone. Keep up.
Good on them. The less tax they pay to the greedy govt the cheaper the phone will be for us. Plus the government are stupid for allowing these loopholes to exist in the first place and deserve to have less in their coffers.
I got caught up with the mindless Android zombies and strayed to a Galaxy S7 Edge. Worst mistake i've made this year - Samsung are a complete joke of a company, sworn off their phones for life now. Serves me right for straying from a company with outstanding customer service to one that pretends to have.

Most of data usage is streaming Spotify GPM apple music etc
I have GPM and 95GB of my iPhone 6 128GB is used for OFFLINE listening ie zero data from in this instance the 2GB used.
With this deal being 128GB storage just download for OFFLINE listening.
Same with amazon video although, worth mentioning, if you rent the 48hr clock starts when you hit 'download' so not the 30 days to watch.
2GB should be okay for most with wifi and EE are great at increasing data for free I've found they are EXTREMELY generous to loyal customers increasing the data allowance.

Pretty confident. Have heard this various times on here over the years and I was told this in Carphone Warehouse recently too. There is absolutely no way you are stuck on the same tariff for the entirety of the contract. The question would be whether the increase would be under normal increases e.g. to keep it within the prices of their standard tariffs (the next on EE being 5GB for £35.99). But I wouldn't like to say I'm 100% - perhaps someone else in the thread can provide more assurance than I?

Ahhh ok. Thanks for your honesty. I already have a good EE deal which I shared a few months ago on the iPhone 6s 64gb and they switched 4gb to 10gb for no extra charge *at the time of taking out the contract*.
But on my old contract they just told me to buy add-ons if data expired which are fairly poor value for money / would push the monthly cost waaay higher.
If anyone reading this is an existing customer please may I remind you that if you cancel by which I mean you speak to EE on 150, then speak to retentions, then still state you want to give your 30 days notice and request your PAC, ideally when you are within 30 days of the end of your existing contract, you will be called back by "refuse to lose" who can then offer deals that beat anything else hands down.

Apple does not, carphonewarehouse does - get your facts right.
IamWill
30 Oct 161#101
If the $200 to manufacture is true, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, given that the rule of thumb is the manufacturing cost to retail ratio is 1:4 to generate enough profit to make a product worth manufacturing (before tax) then the phone should be retailing for $800 which is £656. Add your 20% VAT, £787. Assuming mobiles.co.uk are not in a position to dictate to Apple their price point, then you are getting a 25 month contract, as detailed for a total of £41, or £1.64 per month. Assuming you want an iphone, I call that a bargain.
If your issue is with people wanting iPhones, and you have nothing against the deal, which is quite frankly outstanding, then do consider the following question: Why exactly do you dislike that people choose to pay more than you choose to pay for a luxury product? After all, your phone is almost certainly not the cheapest possible on the market, so the same criticism could just as easily be levelled at you, and if not in phones, there will be something you spend more than necessary on. It is perfectly possible for example to spend £1 per person per day on groceries and eat a healthy balanced diet, but I bet you choose not too....
IamWill
30 Oct 16#102
I literally couldn't have made a more unfortunate typo!!! It's £2 per person per day to eat a healthy diet, soon I guess to be £2.50 or so

Mate when you stream video, stream music etc. You don't actually download it to your phone, just streaming from the internet. Damn three was always cheap as chips to unlock on there! Wonder what changed
Redb1rd
30 Oct 16#144
Any experts on the "using a 3 Sim to unlock the handset"? I'd quite like the option to swap in my vodafone sim, but if I first use a 3 SIM (in theory) the handset should then be unlocked.
EE have a 6 month usage policy before unlocking any handsets
Prices to unlock iPhone 7 on ebay are scandalous!
sysak
30 Oct 16#145
Apart from a bit better camera, faster cpu (which will only be noticeable in a couple of years) and missing a headphone jack + proper home button, this is an iphone 6S. It just doesn't make sense.

Are the items mutually exclusive?
felfel
30 Oct 16#147
Putting in a 3 sim just locks it to 3 and then you can't get 3 to unlock it for you as they just say "if you bought the phone from us it comes unlocked", which leaves you to resort to eBay...

Redb1rd
30 Oct 16#149
That's what I wasn't sure of... does it then lock it to 3? I'd been hopeful that as 3 don't lock their handsets, that it would in theory be unlocked. Unlocking costs on ebay are £70 upwards

Hi
It really depends on the individual.
Low user
Medium user
Heavy user
The data hog as you know is streaming.
The point I was making was for my needs I download for offline listening Google Play Music and amazon Prime VIDEO
YouTube is a problem.
I stream CCTV and that uses a lot of data but I dont do facebook or snapchat.
Everyone is different.
I grant this article saying 1GB is okay for a Heavy user is missing a zero on the end.
2GB would be fine for Low user and Low to Medium user. esp making the most of that 128GB storage.
If users are not making the most of the 128GB for offline storage they might as well go for 64GB storage.

That's an amazing deal. Sadly EE can't match it. I got the iPhone 6 at launch and called EE to get 20gb data (I always have 1gb left at the end of the month) and only pay £35 or 35.99 a month.
My contract finishes in November. Hopefully they offer me something good

There are other possible explanations but I have a feeling that you might not like to hear some of them...
Nobody else seems to have had problems with them so why don't you just ask Carphone Warehouse instead of coming on here and complaining about their customer service for something that may not be their fault?
118luke
30 Oct 16#159
Sigh...
ive already said previously in this thread ive written an email to complain about it. Waiting for the reply but their lack of response isn't indicative of good customer service.
Realistically - i dont believe the website is telling the truth about stock levels, and they have lied in the email to give a poor excuse

Unfortunately i think you've missed off half the conversation. Initially i was commenting regarding carphone warehouse's poor customer service, and then there were doubters so i gave an example of why i deemed it to be poor. (the main point behind my posts)
Someone misunderstood it and thought it was a failed credit check for this deal (again because they diddn't read the previous posts). Ill re-iterate: Carphone warehouse have bad customer service. My main point.
I have even complained to them and even the person responding cant say why it failed a security check... some system they have!!!

iPhone 7 128GB, EE network, £25 upfront, 2GB data, 1000 mins, Unlimited texts, £33.49 per month (£828.76 contract cost)
Seems like a decent offer, seen more expensive prices for the small 32GB model. 2GB of data isn't a lot but it's fine if you're near WiFi a lot (which most of us are).
All colours available, see first comment if these links disappear like they did last time I posted.

But no, "Brexit" has made them increase prices even after acknowledging that the phones cost between $200 - $270 to make.

It's the same when abroad for data.
All normal calls are included unlimited.
Other costs cannot be capped so turn off MMS and make sure chargeable numbers for calls / texts are not used.
On every EE contract the monthly price plan charge will be increased by RPI in March of each year. Other prices, such as call charges and Roaming costs, may also go up during your plan. Your first annual RPI increase will take place in March 2017.
Good deal
Been holding out for a reasonable price on larger memory. Just ordered - via topcashback fwiw.
, so if you use 3 sim first to active the phone then the iphone should then be unlocked.
- Only got my 12 month sim only plan 1 month ago so still 11 months left.
Any truth in that? I can see EE put their prices up for all customers every March, but that was about 1.3% this year. Is there anything else to look out for??

For the Base iPhone 7
In UK you pay £599
In Europe you pay £684.03
In Australia they pay £672.61
In US you pay £532.40+tax (different for each state)
We're not getting a bad deal. The weaker pound has caught up slightly but we're far from getting a bad deal. Can't (or shouldn't) expect Apple (an American company) to spend more money because we made a decision that weakened our currency.
Serves me right for straying from a company with outstanding customer service to one that pretends to have.
cashback as promised. No problems with them. Been with them 10 months and no issues.
Cashback will not be paid in conjunction with any other offer, voucher or discount code unless listed on this page, or with any other discounts such as staff or student discounts
This is about double what I spend on food each year I think. Okay, only if you disregard alcohol.
just wish it had 4GB bundled instead of 2GB.but still a killer deal.
EE (T mobile) customer for 10+ years.
EE are great once you are a customer they doubled my data quota FREE.
Does 30% percent work if we don't take the contract out with ee direct? Thought if we take out through a third party it's not allowed?
But on my old contract they just told me to buy add-ons if data expired which are fairly poor value for money / would push the monthly cost waaay higher.
If anyone reading this is an existing customer please may I remind you that if you cancel by which I mean you speak to EE on 150, then speak to retentions, then still state you want to give your 30 days notice and request your PAC, ideally when you are within 30 days of the end of your existing contract, you will be called back by "refuse to lose" who can then offer deals that beat anything else hands down.
Wonder what nick name Three have "always forever"
If your issue is with people wanting iPhones, and you have nothing against the deal, which is quite frankly outstanding, then do consider the following question: Why exactly do you dislike that people choose to pay more than you choose to pay for a luxury product? After all, your phone is almost certainly not the cheapest possible on the market, so the same criticism could just as easily be levelled at you, and if not in phones, there will be something you spend more than necessary on. It is perfectly possible for example to spend £1 per person per day on groceries and eat a healthy balanced diet, but I bet you choose not too....
Then i ordered again through carphone warehouse (their parent company) and they did the exact same thing.
So i've sent carphone warehouse a complaint email demanding an explanation.
So they aren't quite as rosy as people are saying...
Order #2 said exactly the same message (from Carphone Warehouse)
Not impressed with them!!
Just looked on ee website and the 128GB iPhone is £49.99 upfront on a £55.99/mth contract (5GB) yet someone posted that it would be possible to upgrade from this 2GB deal to 5GB for £35.99/mth???
Someone commented that they get by on a 750mb per month contract, to which I expressed surprise as with such a small allowance the use of video streaming, music streaming etc. would be severely limited.
What on Earth you are going on about, about downloading, storage capacity etc. I have no idea! Pretty sure you failed to understand what was being discussed as what you have said is so blatantly obvious to everyone here you have made yourself look a little foolish. It is also irrelevant to the point being discussed.
As I said, I think the vast majority of iPhone users, wanting to use the full features of the phone, would struggle on a 2gb allowance and definitely struggle on 750mb.
It's £20 to unlock on eBay. It might come sim free tho as it's not directly from EE.
https://broadband.ee.co.uk/existingcustomer
Looks more like £80-100 on ebay and i had ordered an iphone 6 from mobiles.co.uk in the past which did lock to the first sim... Did try the 3 trick but then 3 wouldn't unlock as they said the phone wasn't bought through them.
You'd be better off signing up to Noddle or Experian to find out why than telling everyone on here about it.
How would existing customers go about using the code?
