Just bought one an hour ago in Wigan store so they are still out there.

I guess then that Apple is about to announce a new version at their event this week, and they are clearing old stocks to make room for the new model at the same price as the old one.

Apple wont update Mini 4 or any iPad until next year.
But yeah the only reason Asda discounted them is because Apple stopped making 16GB and 64GB and only makes 32GB and 128GB now.
So 16GBs are older stock asda wants to clear out asap.
Super bargain though and fantastic tablets.

Best bet is to go to the Asda living stores.
They stock them

Been to two stores and they don't even still iPads.

While I have been driving about today at work I have been in 4 superstores including the Oldham one. None had any stock. I wouldn't bother trying tbh it's a wild goose chase!

Toryglen had cards in the aisle but no iPads in stock.

Asda Toryglen did have a label showing that it was discounted to £189

Apparently they discounted them a few days ago. I went to Fosse park and they had been cleared out. iPod touch 16GB was £60!

These were available at this price in Asda Govan a few days ago - they had some electronics for sale on a big table as soon as you walk in.

I haven't kept up to date with iPad models but just assumed this was standard for a mini.
