I used it to make my egg bacon cheese flans but found it to be very oily when baked but it did taste nice

That's what I keep saying but some people think that a deal is only valid if it is at a lower price than before. They should look up the word "DEAL" in the dictionary.

Sorry, this is cold because it's not a special price at all. This pack of cheese is always £4, I have Iceland a minute away from me, so I'm there almost every day - and it's always at this price.

Maybe its NOT a true deal in the sense of the word but I'm letting people know where they can buy GOOD cheese at a decent price. Is that not what this site is about?

Because of offers like this I always stock up and have used later offers first, hence my block of Iceland cheese is still at the back of my fridge but I will start to use it soon, it was £2,50 for 750grm at the time reduced because of sell by date.

How can you leave cheese for a year without needing it? I grate and freeze for easy use later in cooking.

Bargain! Quite strong as well - the Extra Mature I get also has a strength flavour of 4.

it's actually really nice and flavourful chedder also, much better than some of the wll known brands.
and it actually browns and doesn't split when you have cheesy toast,

Just grate what you don't need then freeze it.

No need to freeze, just cut it into 4 and cling wrap tightly, put in fridge and it will last OK for months, I have some in my fridge for over a year with no problem. When you need to use some always re-wrap in cling film so as not to let air touch the cheese, you'll have no problems.
