I rarely post, but this has brought up all the memories of HP nightmare! I would not recommend HP to anyone, particularly the "all in one" models unless you aren't bothered about the scanner. It randomly stops working, requires factory reset, and mine has decided to pack up altogether. If you go to HP forum, you'd be surprised how many people are reporting the same fault over and over and over again and yet HP is not doing anything about it, e.g. not recalling the product or offering replacement or any other solution.

A shame, I really like HP and have been using refills from online for 5 years but would like a 5ghz printer. I guess the printers are sold cheaply and hopefully make up on the accessories as PS4/Xbox's have done.

Sabotaging will cause huge loss of customers. Surely they would have planned for this vs. loss revenue/brand image?

I'll never touch HP again. Bought an Epson with better, faster printing. Wifi never drops out and has independent cartridges. Most low cost HP products are low cheap quality, i.e. Laptops, printers. I never touch HP, utter crap. Spend a tiny bit more money and get something that's durable and not built in obsolescence.

Broke after less than a year. Very average print quality when it worked and consumed ink like a Wild hog! I don't recommend it.

I can't see why you wouldn't go for the entry Epson all in 1 which is similarly priced and inks are all separate and dirt cheap for decent compatibles

Whilst a decent price, IMHO I think it better to go for a slightly better spec printer that doesn't use tri-colour carts, as once one of the colours has run out, a tri-colour cart is pretty much useless. These two cart printers end up costing more in the long run.
