Hope post-Brexit our Gov continues to put public safety and well being ahead of saving money and just following with what Food stuffs the US accept.
High Fructose Corn Syrup sounds like something which should definitely be banned given our concerns about our growing problems with obesity and diabetes..... and the cost to our NHS.

Tastes vary around the world, and everything we can do to NOT encourage high sugar diets the better.
So rather than importing foods which have been produced for a sugar addicted US market, I am wiling to miss out on 'cheap' bargains
Let's see how this sugar tax works.

No mention made of no Artificial additives, etc....

I only bought one bottle, so I will see what I think after the taste test.

p.s side by side, the Farm foods ketchup is a much darker colour - whether this is due to being made of Tomato 'Concentrate' ?

Just a note of caution.....
I have just been into my local Farm foods, with my shopping list of bargains to stock up on - inc the Tom Ketchup.
The bottle looks - an unusual shape, and the label looks unusual also ...inc some arabic script (I think)
Not totally unknown of course, but the only thing I could compare to the 'normal' looking Heinz ketchup bottle next to it on the shelf, was the calories etc as it does not list the content in the same was as the other Heinz bottle !!

But, the calories etc per 100ml/g or whatever is different.
I will see if I can take a photo of both labels and add later.....

But I am wondering if these are 100% genuine Heinz OR have these been made for a 'foreign' market, and therefore the recipe adjusted to 'foreign' tastes?????

I have always been a 100% loyal Heinz ketchup buyer.... but have to admit I have begun to wonder recently if they are adding more sweetener (sugar or something else) ?

All good £1.49 in Acomb York store. There was a bigger size 1.5kg ? which was £2.99 which is what some may have seen elsewhere.

Just bought some of this at stamfordham rd,Newcastle store and it has 01/17 best before date on.... It was £1.49

there is a farmfood not far away from me.didnt know about it until recently
