Yes in fairness my Aldi set isnt exactly the same as those, so these could be better quality. Could be the same set in a new case.
Also I will add Ive bought quite a few tools from Aldi and they're general good value for money. The screwdrivers were disappointing though.
Pay your money and take your choices.

Aldi screwdrivers Made in Germany....Halford made in Germany both made with same materials..I see comment screw drivers getting rounded off...maybe use it correctly it won't. Pozi screwdriver in a Pozi screw and Philips screwdriver in a Philips screw....what can I say sheep will follow other sheep's.

I bought these last time and wasn't impressed with quality. End of posi drive has twisted with the screw and others have bent too.
I actually had some of the aldi ones and replaced them with the Halfords ones. The tips of the Aldi drivers are made of toffee, didnt last very long at all. The Halfords ones are worlds apart in terms of quality.

Just wondering if you need the original receipt if you need to take one back for replacement.
Mine are two years old and the most used posidrives are still ok but not brilliant.

Which code?
toonarmani to boro4me
25 Oct 161#45
The code has nothing to do with this particular deal, it's just a code for Halfords (10% off a service), and wasn't added by the OP, it's automatically included by this site.

Have these , although they are well made I mostly use a cheaper set as the pozi drivers tips are too pointy so the head doesn't fit properly and often rounding the screw head.
It would only take a small file to correct this but never get around to it.

These were one of those typical HUKD buys about year ago. I don't need them but they're cheap and have good reviews, I need them.
However, I've moved into a new house recently, I'm glad I bought them, really good quality.

Decent screwdrivers, though hardly up to Wera standards. Make sure you actually need Pozidriv (mostly used in woodworking) rather than Philips (mostly used in automotive and engineering). Using the wrong type of cross-head screwdriver will usually work, but with a much greater chance of rounding the screw head and/or damaging the screwdriver.

Typical!!!
I was in Halfords today for a set of these, marked at £15 on the shelf (I didn't know about the special), saw the "Halfords advanced screwdriver & bit set" at £20 and thought for an extra £5 I'd get that instead as that included this set plus a few other odds and end and a case (not sure I would have bought it if I'd known I was paying £13 extra!). Oh well, can't return them now as I've been using them all day.
Marked hot anyway :-)

Well they only went on sale for the first time a week last Thursday, so I would agree with you they didn't last very long did they?
Fortunately, all Aldi non-food special -buy products come with a 60 day no quibble return to store warranty, so I trust you got your money back, as it does indeed sound like the item you purchased was faulty.
