Gears of war 4 is currently £40 in Tesco however I just went in-store (Tesco Extra - Cleveland) and they had £10 off if you buy a valid currency card.
The £10 one didn't work although the £15 one did.
This means you get GOW 4 and a £15 Microsoft card for £45!!!
Considering GOW 4 is £40 on it's own, £5 for a £15 credit is excellent!
If you don't want it, you could always sell it online for at least £10

I meant sell the credit....
The point was that you get Gears of war cheaper
Even if you sell the £15 credit for £10, you are still saving on the full price of Gears of war by £5
This is especially beneficial for those who use xbox marketplace anyway.

"If you don't want it, you could always sell it online for at least £10"
But if you did that then you'd be paying £35 for £15 worth of credit.

they will have had the game but they only put them on the shelf in the morning, unless u have a member of staff who knows to put the boxes out ... which most of them won't. You could have just asked a night staff person to get it for you

I went to Tesco in Basingstoke. There was no graphic out but I had faith in the HUKD community and went to the till anyway. It worked! £45 for a £15 Microsoft card and the game. To make it even better I had a £3 off if I spent £30 on Tesco groceries and that worked as well so it was only £42. Hot hot hot.

I bought two mafia games from sainsburys for 39.99 but with 18 off 60 grocery spend online voucher. I swapped it for GOW 4. no issues.
unsure if websites updated with GOW but I ordered two nights ago
worked out £62 for mafia and GOW. Both games had extra DLC and GOW had all the old games free

thats disappointing. Can I buy a downloadable game without having Xbox Live Gold? Or do I need to buy Live Gold first before they let me give them more money for their games?

Heat Added! :smirk:.....
Long story short. There were no £15 Xbox gift cards, grabbed a £25 gift card, scrambled down to the customer service desk, showed the bird this advert. She checks her screen, scans Gears and the £25 gift card and she managed to scan them both through for £45 still.... To my benefit, I'm not sure she was the brightest spark, bless hahaha.

Just went and picked this up from my local Tesco in Milton, Cambridge. No real indication on the shelf that there was a deal. But I risked it for a biscuit. The guy at the click & collect counter looked very confused when the total cashed up on the till. I assured him that I was a wizard, and that we should just leave it at that.
Super heat for this killer release day deal. I've now got some digi-cash to utilise when Cuphead is released!!!
Also for anyone wondering, the guy at the counter originally tried to ring through the new Forza instead of Gears. It rang up to the usual amount, so can likely confirm this is only for Gears of War 4.

So, I got Gears 4, and a £25 voucher, total was £55, so I saved £10. Thanks OP! Edit: I only bought the £25 as they didn't have any £15s :disappointed:

Hi, in my local Tesco store, they had a huge Gears of War 4 stand with the games on it, along with a stack of £15 xbox currency.
It said "GEARS OF WAR 4 £30 when you buy selected currency cards"
it just went through the till at £45 for both the game and the £15 xbox credit

Well, I saw no deal on the shelf, but I decided to take it to the desk and ask the guy to scan it through to see what came up. He scanned the £15 gift card followed by the £40 game and it rang up as £45... I'm afraid there was nothing else to it! Perhaps this is just in select stores :disappointed:

This is standard tesco deal, they used to do with 2100 ms points, best deal for gow 4 though id say, effectively getting the game for £30 and £15 credit to use which if you want dlc etc comes in handy.

This is especially beneficial for those who use xbox marketplace anyway.
But if you did that then you'd be paying £35 for £15 worth of credit.
