Most deals would get voted cold if they were just 10% off. This Argos deal though, a 10% offer ON THE CONDITION that you fork out 50 quid and you don't even get the discount on the first 50 quid spend AND it expires inside 4 weeks?
I will never understand how this deal always gets voted so hot.

You can use this to buy a gift voucher for another store. We used the £10 off to buy a £10 Next gift voucher, which doesn't expire. The gift voucher rack is next to the tills usually in Argos stores. They do vouchers for other places too.

Damnnnnnnnn!!!, would have luvvvvvvvvvv'ed to have combined this with offer:
.Vodafone Smart First 7 Mobile Phone Black or White @ Argos £14.99 (free C&C)
Bought a few of these JUST some days back (less than 1 week back!!!). :-(
If I'd NOT got them via FastTrack (eg. NOT with the £10 mandatory top-up's per 1, etc?), if NOT for that, I'd have refunded alllllllll!!, then re-done those £15 Phones AGAIN, and cash-up these free £5 Argos Coupon's and the like still?! (would HATE to miss out on this Argos freebie yet again for a second time!, hehehe), hmmmmmmmmmm. :-(

Been playing a dangerous game of waiting to buy a now-discontinued Google Nexus 7 when it's on offer (which is often), but before it's totally out of stock forever. It's not been on offer though even though it should be at clearance price, and the stock has been dwindling to next to nothing at almost every local store... But today persistence paid off... Reserved the last one, got the £10 voucher, and spotted 2 kids 2017 annuals that were showing online as home delivery only, so used it for those and had 2 quid to spare coz they were miles cheaper than anywhere else anyway. It's only a tenner off but every little helps

I have an argos voucher 'gift'
I've had it years and
It can only be used at shops with limited over priced stock (not online Argos)
It has limited validity period (after that Argos take your money for nothing)
Argos get a free loan for period voucher is unclaimed.
How do you think Argos manage to offer 'free' vouchers ?

is it possible to buy google vouchers with this? If so theoretically you could pick up a google pixel for £549?

26 Oct 16#61
10% discount... is the norm now. Bit like M&S meal deal, almost every other week now. Nothing special at all. Argos are always doing this. Nothing to shout about. At all. Luke warm. And you have to spend 50 quid, ok if you are actually intending on buying something, but if not then nah.

26 Oct 16#64
Not quite?, the £5/$10 Voucher's that they then give you have to be 'paid forward' towards that of a future/subsequent purchase or whatever?.
Eg. can not therefore be immediately used towards that of your then current/pre-existing purchase or whatever?.
So the full cost of your purchased Product will still apply? .. and your Voucher will be rather palmed forward for your subsequent future purchases, etc?, as mentioned below per this comment:
Ps.
I hear you there too, hehehehe. :-)

26 Oct 16#65
YEP!, and mine was ONLY a few days back as well?. :-(
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, we could try one of the suggestion's as per this one I guess:
Personally speaking, I'm going to see if I can pop into either an Argos, and/or a Sainsbury's Store (as Sainsbury's now OWN Argos, etc), and see if I can get some some sort of clearer 'advice' on my pre-purchases with them?.
Via that, I'll be more clearer as to which way 'forward' then is I guess?, hehehe.
Then I'll report my finding's back here too. :-)
All the best in the meantime in an answer to that of you other lot out there falling into the bracket of a similar 'mo'?, lol.

Not sure I understand.
So let's say - Monday. I go into Argos, buy 5 x £100 gift cards in 5 transactions. I receive a £10 voucher for argos.
Tuesday. I go into Argos, use the £10 x 5 vouchers I earned on Monday for one more £50 gift card.
Tuesday - I then go online, redeem 5 x £100 and 1 x £50 gift cards. I pay the balance of £49 on my credit card.
I'd have spent £549?

I spent £800 there on Sunday. Have just rang Argos and they are going to send 2 £10 gift vouchers out, as I had 2 transactions. Also, one of the items has been reduced by 20% too, they are refunding the difference, as it was purchased less than 30 days ago.
