Two friends/family can download each others digital library of games. Effectively making digital copies of games half price. They can be played simultaneously from both accounts.

in most games yes. there was only games like elder scrolls online that didn't work for dlc. you share pretty much everything, Xbox live, games, dlc, and you don't need to be signed into the other persons account, all the games appear on the store as "install" rather than a price. it's easy to set up, and you can make each other's account your home account so both parties get each other's digital purchases.

That would be Forza Horizon 3, which came out only a few days ago. Best to check with him which he wants, but to help you know the difference:
Forza Motorsport is more of a traditional racing game on circuits - think Silverstone, Brands Hatch - plus a load of other circuits they made for the game.
Forza Horizon is an open world game - instead of races only taking place on circuits, there is a whole environment to drive around in and explore.

Forza 6 isn't a 'Play anywhere' title. If you want it on PC it's Forza 6 Apex. I assume they are pretty much similar, but not a pc gamer so can't advise fully :smiley:

But I think this also applies to the newest game which is Forza Horizon 3. I believe that you can purchase a digital key for the Xbone and it allows you to download the PC version too, though it requires the MS Store / Windows 10.

Also, Forza Horizon 3 only works on a PC with a DirectX12 compatible graphics card.

Same here. I found forza 3 and 4 were the best ones. Backwards compatibility would be nice for these titles in the future.

Forza Motorsport 6 (this deal) - Xbox One only
Forza Motorsport 6 Apex - PC Windows 10 only - FREE on Windows Store
Forza Horizon 3 disk version - Xbox One only
Forza Horizon 3 digital download version - Xbox One and PC
If you want to play Forza on PC, but really don't know much about your PC and if it will run it, I strongly recommend you try to run Forza Motorsport 6 Apex from the Windows Store. It is totally free to play and will give you a good indication if your PC is suitable to play these games without buying a game first, then finding out it doesn't work for you.
If you want Forza Horizon 3 on PC, you will need to buy a digital download version rather than disk version. Once activated it entitles you to the game on both Xbox One and PC.

Would say that the Horizon games are more of an arcade-style driving game (instant pick up and open world race), and the Motorsport ones are more driving simulators (lots of tweaking and tuning).

Probably the best thing to do would be to go on YouTube and just type in 'game share xbox one' and follow the many sets of video instructions. You can share all digital content between both your libraries however note you can't share games and content installed from a disc (as this requires the disc to start up.)

Looks like Digital will become the future for gaming. Sooner or later you will see future devices from Sony/Microsoft without optical drive.
Look at PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro Sony didn't even give a 4K Blu-ray player (even though they have a large share in Blu-ray). Sony believe in 4K HDR via streaming.

Speaking with The Guardian, Sony boss Andrew House said that the ability to stream 4K was a more important feature, as consumers are moving away from physical media (thanks, MCV).
“Our feeling is that while physical media continues to be a big part of the games business, we see a trend on video towards streaming,” he said. “Certainly with our user base, it’s the second biggest use case for people’s time on the system so we place more emphasis on that area.”
Would all be well if we didn't have such gash ISP service in this country. Virgin is the only ISP in my area and they are a disgrace. Avg 100ms ping and download speeds <5mb/s at peak times = no chance of streaming anything of that quality.

True. We use to have in our area just standard broadband from all providers. Average speed was around 7Mbps. In the last 4-5 months BT rolled out huge upgrade in our area so I'm happy with 40Mbps unlimited with Sky :smile:
If the upcoming Xbox Scorpio games are double in size eg 90GB+ I'm upgrading to 76Mbps LOL
