As somebody who bought one last black Friday, they're good but I'd recommend shelling out for the new upgraded models. I'm on my 3rd replacement HR. Google the phrase - fitbit charge HR bubbling. Air somehow gets under the rubber of the band and forces it up like an air bubble which causes the strap to fall apart

Do you think this will come down? Going to buy as a christmas gift?

Can second the comment on the bubbling. Mine did that and has just been replaced by Fitbit - great customer service tho

great price, but just a word of warning - this made me come out in a rash, i tried washing it daily (just the strap) / swapping which arm the fitbit was on daily - same issue.

Not everyone gets a rash, but if you have sensitive skin, think about the fitbit blaze rather than this one - I am using the blaze now.... no issues at all - I got cheap chinese copy straps (metal) and they are very good..
