Are you on crack or something?
Why should I tolerate a someone else's animal taking a s**t on my garden you fool! Dog owners now have to legally pick up there animals dropping or they can be fined hundreds, in some cases thousands of pounds! But for some reason cat owners can quite happily let there precious little fluff bundles s**t quite happily wherever they want. I literally have to go into my garden and collect all the neighbors cats s**t up every time my young children want to go and play in their own garden ffs!! How is that right?

I will say this most if not all Cat3 fireworks should have 25m safety distance, that's not just 25m between you & it that's 25m radius between the fireworks & YOU, next door, neighbours gardens, cars, houses etc so make sure you've got room.
Most city gardens aren't big enough for cat2 at 5 or 8m let alone the big cakes

I did the one night out of the year the cops looked the other way. But the difference is where I grew up there was enough room not to have bottle rockets exploding over a neighbors roof. The reality is the backyards are not big enough in London and It's a pain cleaning up debris that falls off your roof after the first heavy rainfall.

no. my kind of fun is buying a load of firworks and having all the family round and my neighbours for a bonfire and firworks toffee apples etc. but i will say if it wasn't for curious people playing around with chemicals and rockets then there would never have been an industry that we now call space travel and without that the engineers would not have made the type if materials and technologies in space that you rely on every day. so next time you drive home cook a meal in under 10mins sit on a comfy sofa with a flat panel tv enjoying your comfortable like as a technology baby and someone lets off a firework for fun and curiosity just spare a thought fir the people all those years ago that did the exact same thing that has now enabled you to live the life you do. now cheer up and let people have a little fun. after all you could be sat in a house in syria.

I have a solution for you. When fireworks are going on, keep animal indoors, close windows, put the TV or music on fairly loud to drown out any outside bangs still audible, while playing with your dog. These multiple distractions should solve your problem and keep dog happy.
