Check your orders online, I ordered earlier no issue when I checked the order on website GOW4 was not there. Rang customer service and they just removed the game with no notification as they said they don't have stock.

When I bought my fat Xbox One with FIFA 16 I tried to sell the FIFA code on eBay... Sent them the code by eBay message and got ripped off and nothing I could do about it.

I'd avoid eBay completely with digital codes, better to try on the For Sale section here.

As others have said don't touch eBay with digital codes. I had a few to sell recently, both buyers filed unauthorised transaction claims within days of receiving code, had sent the paper codes recorded delivery as well but it didn't make a jot of difference - PayPal still found in their favour and I lost out.
Gumtree or on here would be safer

I can certainly see that Gears of War 4 was removed from your order and I can confirm that we're currently having issues with that particularly game on the Tesco Direct website so-much-so that we've removed it for the meantime. We're currently waiting for our support team to resolve the issue. At present, my advice would be to contact us back tomorrow to enquire further as the issue should be rectified by then. You will be advised as to how we're going to rectify your issue for you at that time.

GOW vanished from my order too, and no change in price.

CS Rep at first said I wasn't charged for it but I told her I had the confirmation email with on it and the price was the same as was currently showing on the website. She went to speak to a supervisor and then told me that it will be refunded, and may take a few days. Asked how much was being refunded and she said full price of the game.

I'm not convinced and will be keeping an eye on the credit card. Surely the value on the "modified" order should have changed when they removed the game....

Had GoW removed from my order. CS said I will be refunded full price of the game in 3-5 days. If anybody forgot to add an extra controller to their order (£15 off if you do) call CS and they should refund the £15 after you purchase the controller at full price.

No (at least not yet). Asked CS whether I would receive a confirmation (similar to the one I received for the £15 refund against the price of the controller). Was advised that I "might" but the best bet would be to check my credit card statement and if there are any issues get back in touch. If I don't get any sort of notification by tomorrow I'll ring back and ask them to provide confirmation that I'll be getting a refund via email.

just been on the phone with tesco direct cs, apparently it has been removed because game oos, the guy said that what I need to do is wait till the game comes in stock and to call them back to receive it. But I do not really like this idea, I asked if I have to pay the same price despite the fact that one game doesn not arrive and guy said 'yeah', not sure if I want to collect it without gow4...

Doesn't seem to be any consistency with Tesco's dispatch methods. Ordered at 8:44, still awaiting dispatch, yet other orders placed later on have been dispatched, all parts of the order. Starting to think I won't be getting this :disappointed:.

Hi. I ordered my bundle at 9.14am this morning , all games and the console were dispatched at 11.07am. Obviously that included gears of war. I'm not into posting stuff on this website so cant pop pictures up for you, I hope the info helps though. I only actually received an email telling me the console was dispatched , I had to check the games on my account. All of my order is click & collect going to my local Tesco Express in Wiltshire.

I had the same issue as a lot of you peeps in here. My GOW game was in stock when i ordered it but my email confirmation did not show it. Phoned Tesco's and they could see i initially ordered it and their supplier just removed it straight away. A polite complain later and i got the full refund for the game (£43) Tesco's really do have great customer services imho. I did mention that perhaps they let their supplier know that they simply cannot hide items of an order!

Yes i ordered really early and the game was removed. I think the supplier realised that perhaps they shouldn't have just removed it from peoples order without informing customers.

I can't see it being the warehouses pulling the GOW copy as they literally just fulfil orders sent to them (on the dispatch info it even says dispatching from supplier wh ), if you look through the posts a CS rep said that they had pulled GOW completely from the site as it was causing problems.. someone in the sales dept took the decision to knock off GOW from the existing orders. It's an error on the bundles makeup coding, when you add the GOW you actually see 2 x options for adding it in the bundles list- You add one of these but then when the bundle updates in the basket it takes off the discount from both of those options instead of one of them effectively making the game free. Personally I don't think it's intended that you can add more than one discounted game to the bundle anyway.. I'm just happy they honoured the sales but someone is gonna be in a heap of trouble.

I'd be interested to see those who pick up their FIFA bundled console today if it comes fully sealed. Mine was sealed at the top, but the bottom seals were sliced and definately opened (I think to insert the FIFA code etc as it was a generic console box?).

There were further seals between the outer sleeve packaging and the main box.

I recieved the refund email as well, contacted Tesco via chat and was told that there was a system issue cancelled the game off of some orders however that sent out the email to everyone.
Checked the order and assured me it was still being delivered.

I was on a chat and was told:

'The Metal Gear game was removed from your order as we had not charged for it due to multiple offers on the order. If you wish to receive this game at the promotion price we would need you to order it at full price and the £20 from the bundle cost can then be refunded for you. '

I tried to argue but no luck. I have a recording of my call yesterday when a cs said I would get the game free when it's back in stock. Otherwise it's 20 quid extra which I don't want to pay, just because I feel it's really unfair. I'll go and try one more time while collecting at the store and if they don't do anything about it, I'll just refuse to collect

I was told by CS yesterday (over the phone) that the full price of GoW would be refunded to me due to it being removed from my order without notification. Got in touch with them again today (via online chat) and was told that the game would be sent to me when it was back in stock and full refund could not be processed. Told them that was not what I was advised yesterday and they pulled the recording of the call and offered me the full refund after listening to it. So if any of you were told you would be getting a refund and are now hearing otherwise ask CS to pull the recording of the call. I was given the option of having a copy of GoW or a full refund.

I spoke with CS just now and they said a full refund for the game will hit my account in the next 3-5 working days. This should be approx. £40 (which I confirmed). I pushed for confirmation of this refund but they said they couldn't confirm it via email and said to just watch my account... Everything bar GoW has arrived at Tesco - should I pick it up or wait until refund/GoW arrives?

I would guess the availability of some items is location dependent - I can't see Tesco being happy to ship a game from one part of the country to another to fulfil an early order if the same game is needed in it's current location by another, but later, order.

Collected all bar gow yesterday from store which is now not on order tho luckily screenshot it guy in store chased it for me was told would be delivered to store monday then got a voice messsge on phone to apologise and say something about gow was an error etc and if wanted to purchase it would get credit of £20 so not sure what to do now any advice from anyone in same boat?

Yeah they called customer service for me but I had to do the blagging. The fact they sent no notification of GoW being removed from order helped my case a lot as "I had to find out in store" which was very disappointing. Good luck!

Picked mine up Saturday night.

I ordered the 1TB Fifa 17 version

The 4 games (GOW4, Forza, Halo v and Mafia 3) also came with no problems, although I will be selling the games as they aren't my cup of tea.

Should work out a good deal once I get the money back from games.

It just depends on each person and console I guess, I don't think every console will ever be identical.
Its almost like a clicking noise as if its hitting against something.
They will never be silent but if its audible enough to annoy you then perhaps see about swapping it.

I'd doubt that very much, since the various discounts you've taken advantage of were based on you buying the console.

bit tricky.. i would advice to collect it and then speak in store or chat with cs about returning the console alone. They might give u an idea on the refund. If not sell it in Gumtree or ebay.

Hi. When ever you install a game on the xbox one or xbox one s they do sound like they are going to take off. It's completely normal and will quieten after installation is finished. It only happens when a disc is installing. On a general noise note, I have had to change my xbox one s with fifa edition from Tesco 5 times due to noise problems....but it's fifth time lucky as it now just sounds normal. They are not going to be completely silent in anyway, more like the sound of a sky box / dvd player quietly whirring in the background. Also when you first put a disc in and start playing it may sound slightly louder but that decreases a few minutes into playing. I hope this helps anyone concerned with the noise etc.

My problem ones had the clicking weird sound coming from the fan. The one I'm keeping if you stick your head over it you just hear the air blowing from the fan and a slight whirring noise from the hard drive.

They will give a £191 voucher for the console so you would be best to take the FIFA code out of the box before selling to them. They will give £165 cash if you prefer cash to a voucher.

No its just a quiet whirring noise which you only really hear if you are right beside it. The noisiest part now is the hard drive.

All I would say is if you think it bothers you to much then contact Tesco, They will easily and quickly fix it for you. If its not too bad and don't want to risk a worse one then just keep it.

In what sense is the deal back up? Wouldn't the bundle in the description come to £297? My understanding was this post specifically took advantage of the Gears double discount.

As I understand it, the only noise should be that of the airflow from the fan (and maybe some noise from the hard drive depending on what the console is doing). Any clicking, vibration or 'cricket' type noises from the fan means a faulty console. I've returned two so far because of this, picking up my third tomorrow. If it's still the same I'll get a refund and hold off on buying another for a while (at least until Black Friday).

Did Tesco customer support say they'd send a new one and collect the old one? I'm on the phone with them now and they are passing me back and forth between customer service and tech support trying to get me to send my console to Microsoft. Guess it depends who you get on the phone.

Edit - Someone with some actual customer service skills came on, explained the bad batch situation from Microsoft, and is sending my replacement out tomorrow to exchange. Sweet!

I just went to my local Tesco with a direct desk ( Trowbridge ) and they swapped it straight over with store stock each time. Might be the best option for you, as then you can look at the model numbers on the box before you leave the store.

It does seem like it unfortunately but people are having a lot more success with the later numbered batch. My perfect one is lot Number/ Date : 1638 & Model Number : 1681. If they have a few in stock ask for them to give you the later numbers as it does seem that the 1635/36 ones were mostly dodgy

It's quieter than the first 2, not silent but not making any weird noise, just the amount of fan noise I would normally hear from a PC. I'll keep it and see how it goes.

Finally got Tesco's to send the missing Gears of War 4 game out.

I ordered in the early batch which had the game removed. First I contacted them online to find out where the missing game was. Their response after 2 days was good saying they would send or refund, my choice, I said send it if in stock or refund if out.

Then I received another email a few days later to say it is out of stock and as I had never been charged for it they will not be refunding anything. I sent another email to say I would wait for it to come into stock, no answer to this.

So when 4 days later it was in stock I sent an email to ask for it to be sent out and they agreed. It is now in my orders being sent to fulfilment.

If you didn't receive yours contact Tesco Direct by their online web contact and keep asking for it and you will more and likely get it.

I got a 1640 upgraded to 1tb due to all the hassle ensued so far. It is not absolutely silent but less cricket noise which is only really audible when next to console. I think I will draw a line under this saga now haha! Maybe suggest a 1640 1tb xbox? My guy was super helpful - i stuck with one contact after a while - he called local stores and asked them to check lot numbers - maybe that is your best approach now?

Mine was 1642 I think and is the quietest of the 3 I've had. It's not silent either but I can't hear it unless I'm right next to it. I guess since they moved the power brick inside the console we can't expect it to be completely silent.
