I'd forgotten I was on their email list! they've not sent a voucher before. states to print it but maybe worth trying showing on phone? until 9 October.

I've never seen one of these bakeries but seem to have quite a few open around the country. The prices are extremely good unlike greggs who have hiked up there prices ridiculously over the last few years!

Its not grim at all. Two pastys for £1 and they are nice. whats grim about that? all I see thats grim is your attitude towards lesser things that you think is unacceptable because your stuck up!

they have always done veggie sausage rolls 2 for £1. Greggs and other places STILL don't do them. they're everywhere in greater Manchester and the rest of the north (apart from Manchester city centre) but none down south

Yes, the owners of Sayers may own Poundbakery but it is still a different chain, in the same way Currys and Carphone Warehouse are owned by the same people but are different chains. They cater to different people.

Wrong - Sayers launched Pound Bakery and still own it.
Not only do Blackpool have a Pound Bakery, it has a Pound Cafe! See picture above, not been, but interested to see how they can sell stuff in a cafe for £1...

Stopped buying things from pound bakery as we have on more than one occasion bought sausage and bean pasties. What they forget to tell you is they don't actually contain any sausage at all. If there is any it must dissolve as soon as it is eaten and should just be renamed 'bean pasty'. Steak bakes were the same i.e no steak just lots of gravy and the odd string of meat.

These used to be called Sayers in Liverpool. All changed to Poundbake now.same stuff, but cheaper.Pasties have gone smaller now though :disappointed:

Sayers is a completely different chain. Not to say Poundbakery didn't buy the premises, though.

Carp? Should appeal to our Polish friends

Fillings are absolute carp but they beat every thing else (including Gregs) on taste and always hot as opposed to like warm.
Have some more heat.
