Finally Boots are offering something similar!
To save you comparing, here's what's in both and what's exclusive to each.......
The Boots one has mascara, a nail varnish and eyeliners, whereas the Selfridges one has more perfume and the Kiehls and Urban Decay stuff.

Just don't!!! If I was bought this I'd be furious about the outrageous waste of money! Miniatures, except perfumes, are far to small to reap any skin benefit.

So is what's being sold at Boots the same product as the op's post or something different? I know my wife would like something like this for xmas.

I've been looking at the Selfridges one, I tried to price up each individual item and it seems a good price.
It's all about getting in the good points.
Of note the Gin advent calendar is out for sale in Booths, though I didn't think it was a great price.
They have the Craft Beer advent calendar out (See about the getting in the good points, as already bought

Look at my post 4 above yours (#4) and you'll see the differences.

If "more or less the same" means 9 totally different products out of 24, then yes, it's "more or less the same".
See post #4 for details.

Thanks for posting that - didn't see when I asked so that's very useful. Would think my wife would prefer perfumes so may go for the Selfridges one.
Never bought anything like this but do you feel this is a good price or is there a chance it'll be reduced in the run up to Xmas?

Price wise, there isn't really anything to compare it to, but one of your fellow HUKDers priced up the individual items and came to the conclusion it was good value.
No, it won't come down in price and it's highly likely to sell out within a couple of weeks (it has for the last 4 years and maybe more?). After the go OOS, they're usually £150+ on eBay.
Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but you do realise that this is an advent calendar? It's not really meant as a Christmas present for Christmas day.

Thanks for the very useful info. Actually, I didn't realise it's an advent calendar so perhaps not the best gift for Xmas day. I would really like to get something full of different miniatures so my wife can try things and decide what she wants full sized. I'll still consider buying this and tell her it's a nice early xmas present lol.
Opening post
I've been getting my missus this every year for a while now and she adores it!
I'm still holding out for that Artisan Gin Advent Calendar in return. :disappointed:
