When I've checked out locally the price to fit a supplied tyre, they usually charge about £15 including valve, balancing and disposal of old tyre. (You might find the odd place who will do it for £10 if you are lucky - but remember what they say when you pay someone peanuts :wink:)

Really isn't worth the hassle of having a tyre delivered and then taking it somehwere and asking them to fit it.

When F1 supply & fit the tyre, they give you a free lifetime repair warranty on it :smiley:
(worth about £20 per repair, including new valve and re-balance)

I too check with F1 all the time, indys esp part worn places expect to pay a tenner each, if its going to be only a tenner difference for the set I just go with inc fitting price and forgo the hassle.

I replaced an non eco pair of Continental tyres with these on my wife's Corsa. MPG improved over a 1000 mile period by 2mpg, so worth fitting. Excellent low noise and wet braking as well, plus tyre life was long.

Bought these April 2015. Lovely and smooth and quiet. But you have to change them in Winter. One cold morning it rained for five minutes, instantly froze a small patch and I had no traction at all. Went downhill through a junction and only just avoided being sideswiped. I now have all-weather tyres on as I can't afford two complete changes of tyres a year.

Good tyres in the dry and wet, so quiet but they wear very quickly and the side walls are very soft so expect a to replace them frequently if your a kerb toucher

Much less hassle to order tyres from t'internet incl fitting imo, and I'd be surprised if, by using the code MACATYRE15 on http://www.protyre.co.uk you would pay much more for these fully fitted. But, lazy swine that I am, I haven't tried...

Edit: Decided to try and comes to 85 quid for 2 incl delivery and fitting. I know which method I would go for but each to their own...

This is a very good deal. The Ratings of the tyre is also very good. But atleast for me, cracks started appearing in my Blu response tyres after 3 years/20,000 miles. Looks like its getting worn out very fast. I had continental before in my mondeo and it lasted more. Purely my personal observation.

Just got to hope this Dunlop product is not made by Sports Direct...

I too got cracks in these and failed mot because of it but good tyre grip wise

​Very possibly. But these are described as Summer tyres. I now realise that is for a reason. Just passing my scary experience on so no one else makes my mistake of thinking Summer tyres can stay on all year.

I'm from a time when tyres were well general tyres and never new about Summer and Winter tyres,heard about putting chains in severe snow in other climes.
But reading about these tyres they have an excellent rating for the wet and for the south of the UK the ability to be safe in wet weather bears a lot more than the times of frost.Just take it more carefull in frosty weather as said any one can become a cropper in severe conditions,with a four wheel drive vehicle and cold weather tyres even.
