In respect of this deal, it deserves heat but I won't be partaking. I love VR but as others have said, the capabilities aren't quite there yet to deal with so much graphical requirements. Also, as much I like the immersion before when looking around before the race, when driving at high speed, I tend to only look at the road ahead of me. Kind of voids the purpose.

I completed the demo without an issue but after a long session which I have only experienced with Batman VR (What a game by the way), I get mild nauseousness. Had a bit of a headache the next day too. I think there is an element of building up a tolerance but there's also an element of our brains getting confused by some of the tracking.

Thanks
I'm the same. I felt sick the first time I played it then the second time I felt fine and the same went for Tombraider I'm ok with them all the time now. So I think you just get use to it.

Amazing how different experiences people have with Driveclub VR. My longest session is three hours and I've completed the single player campaign. Not once I've had any motion sickness. I don't mind the bad resolution when immersion is perfect. I just can't get enough of this game and I don't usually like driving games

Driveclub VR was my most anticipated VR game, but turned out to be the worst VR game on the console :disappointed:
Driveclub VR drives brilliantly with a great sense of driving, but sadly the PS4 just cannot handle the graphics workload to do it justice and make it playable.
A crying shame as it drives and handles VERY well. This would be the best VR game IF the graphics were not so grainy and unclear. ...perhaps the PS Pro will fix it?

Another one here who loves this game and doesn't get motion sickness.
Like someone posted earlier. It's down to the individual and how they react to it.
Far too many sweeping statements on here when it comes to PSVR games...
Oh and heated, great price!

Decided to buy though demo did put me off. Motion sickness on first go but tried a few days later and completed a race. Perhaps you can get used to it, build up a tolerance.

Easily pleased? not at all, i just know what the limitations are at present, not sure what you were expecting???:smile:
Were you expecting a perfect VR experience on a £350 VR unit and a £200 quid console??? are you really this naive???
When we have 128k image resolution per eyeball, built into a pair of contact lenses, or even some kind of way of transmitting it directly into your brain! - then maybe i can say we were at the limit, of course i know that VR will get better and better as time goes on, and accept that it's still early days, for the money paid i am over the moon with it!
The experience and immersion is far superior to the best graphical game on a TV / PC monitor by far, id take this type of game over the best 4 k graphics there is
And there you go, more troll confirmation?? talking about this Scorpio?? hahaha, its about a year away and is nothing more than a dangled carrot by microsoft to make xbox owners content with their underpowered xbones! - by the time next year comes the Scorpio will be old news and superseded.
Hey everyone look at this uber powered console we have jotted down on paper!! - that we can't make right now so in the meantime here's a crappy xbox one s - which can't even bitstream HD audio! it's pure comedy!:smile::smile::smile::smile:

I tried everything 'including' the eye calibration in the Ps4 VR settings, and it made no difference at all. Oh and I'm well aware that the screen door effect is stronger on the Vive/Rift, than the PsVR (due to the reviews from people I know with all 3) but to me it just sounds like you are easily pleased, and just accept that VR is not quite there yet.
To be honest the resolution 'might' be addressed - & fixed - with the power of the PsPro but you cannot swap out the screen of the headset (which gives you the net curtain effect) Oh and I haven't given up on VR yet but I'm hoping Occulus will bring out a RIFT for the Xbox Scorpio which will fix (or make better) the issues of the PsVR.

If your idea of a 2016 VR game is viewing a Ps/2/3 game through a net curtain then get this game. I preordered a PsVR primarily for racing games but as soon as I played Driveclub it went straight back. This left me with a Ps4 that will gather dust (like my Ps3) but if they manage to sort of the terrible resolution and screen door effects on the PsPro I 'might' get another one (the comfort and head tracking were excellent)

Driveclub requires that you set your eye distance correctly, i had the same issue when i first played it, but after adjusting in the VR settings it was crystal clear.
Oh, and the screen door effect on the PSVR is practically non existent compared with the rift and vive, so you're sounding like a troll

Whilst I personally enjoy Driveclub in ITS VR guise as well, it's fair to say it is let down by the graphics. That being said, this is a couple of year old game that has been tweaked to allow VR gameplay. Im looking forward to the next driving game that has been developed with VR in mind.

true story. experienced it as well and dizziness lasted whole day after 20min of playing. I blame disappointing graphics. I believe if it was better we wouldn't have to focus so much to see the road.

I use the interior car view with Dualshock 4. Never had any motion sickness. I love the drift/speed trials. Addictive trying to best your own scores/times.
If you're of a weak disposition and get motion sickness it's an easy game to drop in and out of in small bites. To build yourself up.
Getting some of your favourite music playing on Spotify PS4 app and blasting down the road in this game is awesome.
