Reasonable prices like this for a full-fat VR game make the headset price a bit easier for me to swallow.

Most of the PSVR games run absolutely fine. It is just a few graphically intensive ones that are a problem.
Driveclub was the only problem one I've tried. I've read though that the Luge game and Scavenger game on the VR Worlds disc are bad too.

As a current Vive user, former Rift owner, and prospective PSVR buyer, the comments on the GFX in this, and the amount of cutbacks in game (8 cars maximum? LOL!), are exactly why I'll be waiting until the Pro comes out.
(And no PC vs PS fanboy reply stupidity please. I have VR on the PC. I'll buy the console version too if the PS4 Pro cuts the mustard. I don't give a toss what's running it, as long as it runs it well and offers good content.)

I suspect the demo and full game are the same. The in car graphics were fine, as were cars near me. The orad in the distance is a pixelly mess. Reviews are mostly saying the same thing about Driveclub.
Perhaps PS Pro will fix this mess of a game.
If my headset was wrongly adjusted I would not have found the other demos to be clear.

You couldn't see the next bend?
I have the full game, works fine can see everything fine.
Perhaps the demo has an issue, or you don't have the VR correctly positioned
My standards aren't set too low, i just appreciate there are limitations with the current hardware and know what to expect

A driving game where I can see where I am going....the next bend perhaps?
Your expectations/standards are clearly set far too low.
This was by far the worst demo I played of ALL the demos. Look at games like Battlezone, Rez and Thumper to see how it should be done on PS VR.

Not sure what you were expecting?
i know we're all used to 4k HDR these days, but you need to appreciate that isn't possible at the moment and certainly not at 350 quid!
I don't care about the graphics, they are about PS3 level, but the experience is excellent. Much more immersive than the best graphical game i've ever played, this is how i want gaming. The eyecandy can wait until the video hardware is capable of 8k per eye!
Oh, and i played Driveclub VR for 4 hours straight, no vomit here. Not sure why you're all returning it without trying? reminds me of the reports of sickness when the 3DS first came out. Some people are more susceptible to that sort of thing, for example a friend of mine can't watch movies on his phone when on the bus or in a car as he get's motion sickness., does that mean you're not going to watch tv or films on your phone because you just heard this from me?
You guys crack me up

I played PS VR for half an hour last night and I took a break. I then started playing Driveclub VR and felt ill within a few minutes, I felt ill for the rest of the evening. Based on that and the reviews I would not recommend this game.
Cancelled my order- it's around £18 on the PSN store!?!

Spoke to a amazon rep and they said that the price is most likely to change between now and release date if that helps
I would say with this one it seems the price is more than likely going to change between now and release date. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/promotions/...(See full link)

I don't know all the details, but I do know for certain that the number of cars on a track has been reduced from twelve to eight. It's not quite the same as the original game, though I certainly don't think the compromises are a deal-breaker.
'Thankfully, the visual identity of DriveClub is intact here, but some of its more ambitious visual features appear to be absent. The impressive cloud simulation model is eliminated and weather is nowhere to be seen, while the number of cars on the track is reduced from 12 to just eight. Trackside detail certainly takes a hit in the form of more aggressive LOD popping where flat billboard trees are converted to full 3D models in closer proximity to the player. The world isn't as richly detailed as before, but the resolution limits of PSVR at least help conceal that fact to a degree.'
just going on what I read. maybe what I read was wrong. I read it was a standalone experience that was different to the original in on disc content....but hey maybe I am wrong..like I said I just got that impression from a few sites.

Why are you misinforming? what exactly has been removed and where is your evidence for this and also whats watered down?
The Game is 100% the original, with new urban areas, and new tracks as well as new game modes.
Driveclub VR is exclusively for PSVR and will require the headset to play. you can buy Driveclub on its own with season pass for about £15.00 or so.
But this is a good price for a hell of a lot of content.

But do you get all the original Driveclub content as well as VR stuff?
Are you able to play this edition of the game WITHOUT VR headset if you desired?
Is this edition going to be the same as if you had the original Driveclub and purchased the VR addon ?
Anyone know the answer to these questions?
Cheers

From what I have read this is a stand alone game that is only for VR. You need to buy the original game if you want the original experience. I am not sure if this VR version of the game is playable on the tv without the headset. But it would offer a watered down experience. So it is best to get the original game which is cheaper on Amazon anyway. This VR one doesn't offer any upgrades other then the fact that it is for VR. And if anything things have been removed from this version
