500ml of Dr Pepper Cherry for 49p at my local home bargains in Waterlooville, probabaly national, stock dependant I guess.
Not usually available in the U.K. Would usually pay £1.50+ for a 355ml can from the USA if you wanted this.

I honestly thought that normal Dr was cherry flavoured.

Ah, that makes sense. To me it tastes like battenberg and, basically, almond and cherry flavouring is the same.
As an aside, to me root beer just tastes like toothpaste.

Same here. Although I kept going back to sprite and it's only taken me about 8 years to get used to it!

Sent on to my niece, she absolutely loves Dr Pepper - not sure about the Cherry variety.
I always tell her I think Vimto and Dr Pepper are similar, but she vehemently disagrees - I don't like fizzy pop much though :stuck_out_tongue:
Didn't know they'd changed the sweeteners, though, will have to ask her.

They did the same thing to Sprite except with Stevia, I literally can't drink it anymore. I haven't really noticed the change as much with Dr Pepper though.

Actually this particular Dr Pepper is from America and tastes more or less the same as our Dr Pepper. In the US regular Dr Pepper is actually somewhere between a Cola and a Root Beer and tastes nothing like the Dr Pepper we have here, the Dr Pepper Cherry variety is the US version of the International Dr Pepper flavour.

Does that label look suspiciously like Bisto to anyone else?

I bought this a few months back and could barely taste the cherry. Didn't taste like much tbh and barely like normal Dr Pepper. Would stick to the original in the future :/

Got some of this a couple of months back from Homebargains too, then it vanished but saw it was re-stocked last week again! Think it must sell out quickly

Got them from poundworld the other day 12 for £6 so 1p more per bottle and it's tastes like s*it. Cherry Coca-Cola is 100x better and I'm a Dr Pepper lover

Doesn't taste the same now that both this (and the normal) has had artificial sweeteners mixed in with the sugar. It's also a trigger for my cluster headaches - I'm gutted, used to love Dr Pepper.

I felt exactly the same when they changed. I used to love Dr Pepper. What were they thinking when they added artificial sweeteners to the sugar version? If you want a Diet DP, you buy one. Complete madness.

I wonder if sales of Dr Pepper are down now that they've added artificial sweetener? I used to like it, but I won't buy it any more.

Also in Stockport (Edgeley) branch.
Only reason I didn't post is that it was from Poland & thought it would get hotter if it was directly from the USA.

I think it's the polish one they sell in poundworld too, 3 bottles for £2 I think. To me it doesn't taste as good as the American one though sadly.
