Have to disagree with Glocc. The original version of Dark Souls 2 was poor, but this is the revamped Scholar of the First Sin edition and is really good imo.
I bought it not expecting it to be as good as it is. Also a very good price to play the second one before the third (and wait for the third to drop in price a bit!).

I don't think this is a very good price; not sure about console, but it's gone for like £6 on PC before.
That aside, it's also by far the worst in an otherwise great series of games. Play everything from Demon's Souls to Dark Souls 3, if you can, before getting this.

Well as expected the PC version of any game tends to be cheaper...but for the console this is one of the cheapest price...
