Went into my local Superdrug (scunthorpe) and noticed that they were selling 850g bars of dairy milk for £5.99!
Personally thought this was a good deal as Debenhams is selling this exact bar for £10!
It's the biggest size they do since they stopped the 1kg bar.

Good price if you want to give it as a novelty gift.
If you're just buying it for the chocolate however might be better going to Waitrose and getting 200g for £1.50 (works out as £6.37 per 850g) but you can choose how much you want to buy / use each time.

Never tried it myself... Just surprised by the size of it ... guess it's the the novelty factor, as to why people buy it

It's just sugary palm fat, skimmed milk powder and flavour, hasn't been chocolate for many years now.

I remember only a few years ago (about 6) Cadburys were doing the big 5kg bars. They were fabulous! We bought 3 or 4 of them in one year! Each square was huge!

Asda are doing the 390g Galaxy for £2, if it's just for you the equivalent size for the cost would be a little less than 1.2kg (or nearly 50% more choc for your dosh!)
Oh that's a cold deal. 170g bar in poundland is , well , £1 - so for your £50 pounds i can buy 8.5kg and not just feel a bit icky but be properly ill!

I work on £1 per 100g so anything less than £8.50 for this bar is a good deal (I base my theory on the fact that the pound shops sell 100g bar of Dairy Milk for £1).
