I picked up the millennium falcon recently. Really fun model but the interior is sparse. I've decided to gut it and build a new interior! Geek

Lego is a joke
little pieces of plastic that clip together for how much!!!!! are they kidding me!
next to printer ink and Gillette razor blade replacements these prices are criminal.

Quality costs money, Lego sets nowadays are precision engineered works of art imo.

Too right, its just like buying a car. Tens of thousands of pounds for cheap components that clip together to make something that only moves down a road. Companies produce it all for far less and then sell it on for profit! Disgrace! Sure I can move down the road just by using my legs, who needs a car!

I don't agree that Lego itself is a joke, especially if you're in to that sort of thing (although I don't think the quote was really referring to the actual product itself anyway), but I DO agree that the prices they charge are most definitely laughable!
Comparing Lego to a functional item such as a car isn't the best of analogies, particularly when one perhaps envisages a disabled person heading off to town on a Lego Millennium Falcon, but that suggestion was based on the perception of the quote above being levelled at Lego, rather than the pricing of these items, which most people would agree, is a joke!!

I don't see why Disabled people couldn't use a Millennium Falcon for transport, theres a perfectly good access ramp. The X-Wing isn't DDA friendly. Someone needs to investigate which Rebel and Imperial craft don't comply so that it can be brought to the Galactic Senate.

Going to cost me a fortune this  If you have a family member who works at Asda they can do click & collect and get a further 10% off making these seriously cheap prices for some items.
