excellent call, got 1 in hammersmith so it is national. The rapid fire is full price. The silent is 59.99. Might still be some in westfields shepherd's bush. But hammersmith is sold out.

Gah. Just opened mine up, and it's US layout - small enter button and no pound sign. Box says "English qwerty layout" on a sticker, but the picture on the front is US layout.

Still think that it's a bargain, but not sure my mate will be so keen to have the 2nd I bought...

Staff aren't allowed to buy themselves items during their shift so it was probably put aside till shift end but considering there are next to no perks for working there I think that's fair. Besides there's nothing worse than someone demanding you have stock "because it says so online" if you just blindly follow something just because it's written down there's this thing called the bible your gonna love...

he tried to say that they dont sell it in store then says in the same breath to his mate is that the one that you put aside for yourself. I used to work for tesco and it was a sackable offence if you put any stock aside for yourself while on shift and stopping others from buying it

Take a look at the barcode and there should be a SKU number. If it ends in UK, then you have a UK model.

Well, one of mine is US and one UK, and both boxes' barcodes end in "UK".

A friend and I got one each today. Not checked mine yet. His was UK though.

Not sure what I'm going to do with mine as I already have one with MX Reds. One of them will get sold!

Box photos are usually generic, that's not unusual. All that matters is the SKU on the box - cross reference with the Corsair website.

Thanks Sonic. Both boxes have the same SKU. Looks like nobody else has experienced this, so it appears to be unique and not something anyone else need worry about.

​Yup. Both boxes seemingly identically sealed (with two clear circular stickers). As I say, worse case, I'm returning it.

Picked one up at Game in Camden this morning. It was marked at £100 in the display, but I asked the cashier to check the price and it scanned up as £59.99. Fantastic bargain - I'd been looking at paying full-whack for the keyboard, which would have been at least twice as much. Now I can get rid of my old keyboard with Cherry blues, which was so loud that my girlfriend and flatmates were just about ready to murder me.

Given how cheap the keyboard is, why not just see if you can get replacement key caps? If an exchange is not an option.

Just got round to setting the keyboard up, the colours out of the box are pretty naff don't forget to install the corsair utility for all the cool effects. Coming from a regular microsoft membrane keyboard I must say these keys are quite loud for a supposed 'silent' mechanical keyboard. I would imagine the non silent ones would drive me insane, how do they do it :smiley:

What mouse you all got?

Corsair Scimitar. It's the mouse thats supposed to be paired with this keyboard. It has a software function that links all the RGB leds between keyboard and mouse and they share the same lighting effects.

The most likely scenario is that someone purchased a cheap US one from one place, maybe eBay or Amazon, then purchased the UK one from Game, then swapped them over and took it back to Game.

Dammit, missed it!

My local was showing as out of stock, went in there today and asked, they had one left but the price went up today, was gutted!

I went to the Motherwell store this morning and saw it was priced back up at £139.99 and the guys were adamant it was only on over the weekend. When I said I'd seen folk on here had got one on Monday, and would they mind ringing another store to see if they had any at that price one of the guys scanned it and it came up at £59.99. They've probably fixed it now but it's maybe worth asking them to scan it for you.
