Hot deal - I have a £10 off £100 voucher so really need to go to 60 packs to use that !!

240 bottles for £90 = 38p a bottle or £1.52 per pack, quite a bargain (assuming they could fulfil an order for 60 packs of beer.

Surely a misprice. Be aware they can charge you a different price if it changes on the day you are due for delivery. If that happens I guess you would just reject the delivery

Am always wary of ordering these deals online - as if they change it you do get charged the revised price. Perhaps they are just clearing this line of stock.

once you have cleared checkout and made your online payment they cannot adjust your order confirmation without informing you and getting your permission to change the price. this i know from past experience. however it will be your choice if they did amend whether you still go ahead with purchase.

Just picked up 36 bottles from Waitrose WIllerby for £15. There's also an offer on the boxes of 12 bottles They're at 2 boxes (24 bottles) for £20 so only £4 off. Surely the 12 bottles for £5 is an error on their part?

Called in Cowbridge South Wales branch this morning, no offer signs checked at till and it works. Only had 9 packs on counter which I and one other gentleman cleared with those from their fridge display (another 9 packs). Member of staff unaware of offer checked and confirmed and said would order more. With My Waitrose card also had free daily paper and free coffee. Excellent deal from up market retailer.

Managed to pickup 39 packs from 4 stores, my missus birthday pending soon.
Only one store had big carton label # 3 for 5 #
In the last store the offer do not pop up at check out, unless I scan my Waitrose Card.
My missus start complaining, the flat is full of Corona, 24x Star Wars Calendar and 22x Lego XXL Classic.
Do not mentioning the freezer ( £5 Coop offer last week).Actually I got space there now, let's full it with Ben & Jerry's Half Baked 10p :stuck_out_tongue:

This was a miss price - all branches were told to remove from sale at 12 today

Try to add 96 bottles for collection at kenilworth store but said it wasn't sold at that branch. Just sent an email to the local rag asking if they want a story. Big international store fails to honour pensioners shopping. Got to be page 7 at least.

Will be fixed overnight, sadly the system is that old that they can't fix it until close. My store has had 4 online orders placed today from customers, all in excess for 50 units which will be cancelled. As mentioned they shouldn't be on sale from lunch, lucky if some of you got them this afternoon.

I know - I think a few branches might be in trouble tomorrow - we were told to take it off sale and looks like quite a few branches didn't - why they still had it on the website as on offer who knows "overnight" processing springs to mind.

Well done to all that managed to get some - and for those complaining that somebody else had cleared out their local branch - they probably hadn't - the branch just followed instructions !

How difficult can it be - did they inform stores by carrier pigeon? IT haven't corrected the website - I think the only reason online orders are getting cancelled is because that particular store can't fulfil the order. We'll find out tomorrow when I try my nearer Waitrose (worked late and caught nearest one just before 9pm close)

Had a call this morning cancelling my order, due for delivery this afternoon, apparently because the pricing breaks Minimum Alcohol Pricing Law. They tell me all deliveries have been cancelled. Has anyone received their's??

Just bought the last 48 in Caversham, they still had the label up so had to honour it for £20 even though coming up at £54

I checked my local, no 3 for £5 sign and were coming up at £4.50 each or 2 packs for £8 on self scan. :disappointed:

They've updated the prices on the system but if it shows 3 for £5 on the shelf they'll honour it :smiley:

Just checked in my local store and although they had taken the offer label from the main shelf they had left it on a chiller cabinet where they had the cold wines and beers, so they honoured the offer at the till. :smiley:

So if your branch has a drinks chiller cabinet it may be worth checking it out !

They don't have to agree. If it's a mistake they can simply refuse the offer or you pay the correct price. But being waitrose, they have a good policy on customer services so no shock seeing them accept the odd pricing mistake.

Looks like plenty of people (not me) got the deal mikeyrobbo - so so miserable.

If you read the other comments you can see it was a pricing error - you had to be quick to get it or one of the lucky ones whose store was still showing the wrong price. Lots of hukd deals are really short lived as they are mistakes or just sell out fast. Thanks to OP for posting!
