I work for co-op and can confirm this isn't nationwide and store specific. These are on clearance for the stores that no-longer stock the product. Some stores will continue to stock the product.
In regards to it not having a reduced sticker on, it's because the product has been delisted and reduced by the system, rather than a manual reduction
Still a great find though and this will be delisted in other stores :-)

i work in retail and...
1) you wouldn't promote an end of line product online as stock will be sporadic
2) as you can see in the photo this is the standard price - its not got a reduced sticker over the original price
3) see point 1 about a "big display"
I can only tell you what they told me! Possible it has just been delisted from this store only, however that normally means the store has to reduce it locally (with a reduced sticker)
there is also the chance that the stock in your store was baked yesterday, price only reduced this morning so you should have taken it to the till
and as for no one else mentioning it - that's because I did first :stuck_out_tongue:

Just checked my Co-op in Cardiff and they're still £1.65. I don't think it's a nationwide thing as there are no mentions of it on their websites where they list deals and if it was an end-of-the-line discount, it would have been this price all day - someone else would have mentioned it. Plus they would probably make a big display for it instead of just sticking a reduced sticker on the back.

Although I understand it's end of line so when bakery stocks are gone that's it

ahh that's so weird, I thought they only recently introduced the "truly irresistible" line.
