The big tubs of chocolate/sweets, including Celebrations, Roses, Heroes, Quality Street, Haribo, Swizzels and Rowntrees will be available for £4 each for a week only starting 2nd November 2016 until 8th November 2016.
Thanks for the post.
I recently bought a tub of roses and threw most of them in the bin as there are only a few of the nice ones in there and the others are rubbish like that 'almond crunch'. Whoever taste tested that for approval should go to prison

Kraft the company that owns Cadbury changed Cadburys Roses tubs by reducing chocolates per tub, introducing new bland chocolate rappers, reducing chocolate sizes, changing chocolate shapes and changing the taste of most of the chocolates.

What I hate most is that it says, made under licence from Cadbury UK Ltd. Not, made by a proud British company called Cadbury. By Mondelez who uses the name and rips us all off by not paying tax. There is now no more reason to buy them than the chocolate sold in Aldi.

Have to agree with you. The new flavours/shapes are absolutely terrible. The quality of this product has disappeared. Absolute rubbish. They seem to have foil wrappers purposely designed to occupy space so they don't have to put as many in the container and still look full. However considering how awful they are that doesn't seem a bad thing.
Kraft have absolutely destroyed the quality of Cadbury Roses and also some of the chocolate bars since taking over. I hope they don't turn their attention to Double Deckers which I love.

Seems a very regular British thing to moan about the ever shrinking size & lowering of quality of food & drink for the same price or more, but companies also know its very British to moan but still buy. If we stop buying instead of just moaning & complaining within our own social circles all the time, companies will sit up and listen. Don't complain then buy. Problem is, most of us don't have the will power to do this, we just take it.
Over to you.

Too true!
Kraft would put Cadbury's chocolate on dogturds if they thought it would turn even a slight profit!
Surprised they haven't had choccies with Philadelphia soft centres!

Does anyone know if the price based on weight is better value with the refill packs rather than the tubs? I'm sure I bought one tub of Celebrations last year, and then one refill pack of each brand and just mixed them all up in the one tub, because the refills were cheaper than tubs. But I've looked on Asda this year and I can't see how that could be the case this time (maybe they're smaller refill packs, I dunno)

2 for £7 is usually the best deal you can rely on every year for the last couple years. To me, £4 is the normal price for these, £5 is the "I won't buy them unless I really have to" price.

The roses have changed to some strange kind of bubble pack instead of the foil and cellophane. I guess it saves them money and lets face it with £177 million profit the paid absolutely nothing in tax on it - I suppose they must need the money !
