Cold as Sell by Date is only until the 25th Nov and dont think we eat enough cheese in our household to justify having 4 blocks of cheese we may waste.

Just buy one for £1.50 then?

Sell by date does NOT matter. It's the use by date you need to look at.

You don't have to buy 4 blocks! Grate some and put in freezer for later use.

Has to be the dumbest reason for a cold vote I have seen.

Hardly worth stopping my 4 kids homeschooling today for one block of cheese is it? Maybe if 'Iceland' was close enough I would take them for a nature trail to the local shop but it is a 15 minute car journey THERE.

Freeze...cheese? That is one of the most ridiculous things I have even heard. What possible use would you have that you could use frozen cheese?

Thanks OP - bought 4 blocks yesterday- use by date of 12 December

Its a simple question of maths - 4 blocks of cheese = 1 block of cheese for each of your kids. Think of the uses they could have with the cheese then in your "home school": eating some for lunch, using some in cooking lessons, growing mould on it for biology lessons etc..
So to answer your question.............YES - it IS worth it!!
