Argos did this last year with a black bush washing machine similar cock up they process it all take your money then someone from the customer services team sends you an email a few days later to confirm its a cock up and they DONT have to honour it as its in their terms and conditions of sale so don't get y hopes up and then they offer you 10% off the full price of what it should have been for good will as if

What they do is a lottery. They take all the ones who said "oos" and do a raffle. One of these people will be the lucky ones and actually get the washing machine for free. This happens once a week only. And only on 'this site' which is the true reason as why it is in this site.

Then they take all the ones who say "if you're not in you can't win" type of posts. And do another raffle. And the winner of that one gets a free pen.

No they don't. They had a glitch last year with a Samsung washer dryer. From 650 down to 200. Didn't honour it. Just apologised and gave Me a £50 voucher

can i ask you why did you call them up , if this was an error then you would have told them they have made an error and yourself along with everyone else who has not phoned them up because they hoped they would get this because of the price error will not get one now because some one (you) let them know they have made a mistake amd they will say it was a glitch or out of stock , if you are scared to spend £37 and then wait for a refund (not lose it) that you have to phone them up then i think you should not buy something like this , just like those people who have ordered one hoping to get one who will get a refund but never phoned them up to alert them of an obvious price glitch , if in doubt you should not order it instead of phoning them up and messing it up for other people who never phoned up worrying over £37 who just ordered it , why oh why do people like you do this all the time because you always mess it up for other people who dont phone so please explain to us all why you phoned them up so we can understand why you could have messed it up for everyone else

Been stung too many times... lost count to be honest. I had a misprice on exclamation marks last week, didn't notice until it was too late!!!

There's still deals to be had though, there's one above where you get a free space with every comma.. No capital expenditure though.

Actually I do . FYI a contract has to have offer , acceptance and consideration .
If they have taken the money then they have to supply , they cannot unilaterally change the contract , but you would have to be willing to take it all the way to court .

1. They're probably trolling you.
2. Any large company worth its salt (including Argos) will have software that tracks any spike or jump in orders. You can see this in action from an end-user perspective when it tells you how many people have bought within the last 24 hours. By the same logic, it makes no difference whether someone orders one or ten (another common misprice complaint), the surge in orders based on the sheer number of people browsing this site means it will get picked up even if no one called.
