They all have headphone sockets/line out sockets for connecting to external speaker systems/amps. My nephew (17) had no idea what a record was when I showed him my player a few weeks back. I felt instantly 100 years old :neutral_face:

I wouldn't trust a £30 all-in Turn table to play my vinyl thanks . Especially my new copy Of David Bowie - A reality tour :smile:
That's all good n well, but you'll then need an amp and/or speakers, making this about £150+. I think some enthusiasts are missing the point here, this record player plays your music, for £30. It doesn't sound like a £150 set up, nor does it pretend to be, and it looks decent!

Just been looking into getting a cheap record player. These suitcase ones are mostly junk unfortunately and can damage your vinyl, then again it's Bush and £30 so what do you expect, it's hot deal for the right person.
£99.99 at amazon though currently out of stock, sure a good deal will come up in next few months :smiley:

tried to buy one as a christmas gift, first one was broken straight out the book, second one was falling apart. I then got my money back

Has anyone connected this product to a separate amplifier yet?
It says 'Line Out' Socket in the specs, but the pictures clearly show 'Aux In' ?
Any clues anyone?
(In fact, sadly just read the online instruction manual and it is a 'Line In' can this be adjusted in the title to save people thinking it can be connected to an amp?)

was given one last Xmas...they appear to have severe QC issues...exchanged 3 times with a different fault each time....crackling speaker...and skipping...and finally got money back.:man:

These look the same as the crossley cruiser , only they are more money..
And yes agree , not for your loved vinyl, .ok for old stuff I would say.
speakers not great, but as mentioned above, use a separate speaker.or headphones. ...Ok if you want portable, but you need elec, and space saving.
but if you got room, and top vinyl get a proper turntable, amp, speakers...

I didn't realise Hairy Bush still made anything? Not exactly known for their build quality or performance. If you are after a record deck I'd advise getting a better make.

If you want to ruin vinyl buy this tosh. You want to enjoy vinyl.... spend over £100 minimum.... I would say over £300 and even that's cheap

Well we cleaned the attic out last Saturday and they were in a small red box he used for his records and the box was full. But yeah will have a look when I get in tonight to double check, Thanks :smiley:

Check first that his records aren't warped as an attic is typically a terrible place to store vinyl due to the temperature.

I bought my Mum one of these. On there own they aren't overly great, but with a half decent speaker they do sound pretty good. I tried it with my simple Jam Classic and the improvement was very noticeable. So I went out n bought her a Jam Classic too for £15.
