Why do people to feel the need to excuse themselves when it comes to bad food. Would you add that when talking about choosing a bottle of wine etc. It's quite easy to live healthily and eat burger king every so often. Unless you're overweight or ill of course.

A vegetarian.
I once caught a girl at uni eating a Whopper that she'd wrapped in a hollowed out orange peel because she fancied a lad that was vegan. I said if you really like him there's no way you can hide your baps or your burger from him.

Not neccessarilu quick if you have to queue up then wait once you've placed the order. These days you're better off just buying a sandwich or a pasty from a convenience store.

Not really. If you are Vegetarian you will NOT buy a veggie burger that HAS been fried in oil that is used for non-veg products.

I don't think the big king price is normally £2 for one. i checked 2 websites dated a few years back and it said £3.89 and £3.79 for the burger on its own. So its probably closer to £4 now (or £2 each using the offer).

The old spicy bean burger they used to serve in the late 90's was superb.
I used to order one with a whopper even though I am not vegetarian.
I ordered one the other day as I had not been to BK for quite a while and their veggie burgers were shockingly poor, not a patch on the old spicy bean burger.

Totally agree, the Spicy Beanburger was great. Now that one was fried in the same oil as other products and wasn't actually vegetarian. The current one is vegetarian but is so bland, not at all nice

You either eat meat or you don't. If you eat meat you're not a vegetarian, pesco vegetarian is to appease people who think they're vegetarian but aren't. The complexity is that Omega 3 fatty acids are required in the diet, no biologically active Omega 3's are available from plant sources. So there is a definite biological argument to eating fish, the added complexity is that all fish contain mercury and some fish can be safely consumed everyday and others should be consumed less frequently. All fish (to my knowledge) contain parasitic worms, and when I did eat fish I have examined the fish from my fish and chips and observed worms in the fish, I merely took them out and ate the fish anyway.
Omega 3's DHA and EPA are sourced from fish and the fish get it from algae. The biologically inactive Omega 3 ALA is available in abundance to vegetarians but the body has to convert it enzymatically to EPA and DHA. There are vegetarian algae supplements for vegetarians some containing just DHA and some containing both EPA and DHA albeit at lower amounts achieving by eating fish or fish supplements. There is little scientific study to indicate the % of ALA conversion to EPA/DHA from plant sources, it's thought it could be as low as 5% conversion rate, and of course there's the genetic complexity whereby certain genes could make certain people poorer at converting and maybe even better at converting ALA to biologically active forms.
Being Vegan also has issues with Vitamin B12 deficiency, there are many cultures that are naturally vegan and it's thought that they obtain Vitamin B12 from all the insects they actually consume in their food, such as from bread, as all of us do. Strictly speaking it's impossible to be completely Vegan as all of us consume insects in our food which is nigh on impossible to avoid.

Second of all, even though on the voucher there was a picture of an aero mint fusion, according to the woman on the till, only the plain aero fusion can be bought with the voucher...
