Lol. Nice one. It really is a top notch series (only 8 episodes so great for binge-watching!).

Not that unreasonable to binge through all of this in a month IMO. There are 62 hour long episodes. You could smash through those relatively easily if you have a couple of 6 episode days.

I know you've tried to shoehorn in a Breaking Bad quote there but that quite literally makes no sense.

Yes, but then pretty much anything is better than Big Bang Theory.

I love Poundland but I think people moaning about their non-£1 items is getting a bit old. As long as it's well-advertised and the vast majority of the items they sell are a pound, what's the problem?
Don't shop there if you don't like it.
Complaining to the Advertising Standards Authority - puhlease, get a life (I remember a guy moaning as such on the Pound Shop Wars programme on the BBC, which was about Poundworld).
The only annoyance I can ever think of is the time I picked up Sheba multipacks from the Pet Section (all £1) and it was £2 at the till - but that was the fault of the shelf stackers.

Too be fair it is Poundland so you expect everything to be a £1, I know they have started to broaden their horizons a bit and have the odd high ticket items, but they are usually in a special one off bay clearly marked up away from the other tat, if in your situation I picked something up from the normal sections and they were not £1 I would be kicking right off!!

Well considering their slogan used to be "everything's £1" when they were selling items above £1 it is hardly surprising they got in trouble with advertising standards, I don't think that is a 'get a life' issue, more of a company actually not standing by what they advertise, and complaints were totally justified.

This show is really addictive. Can easily end up watching 3 episodes in a night. Wouldn't call it sad to have watched them all in a month.

Yep, it's the only way. What a coincidence, watched the first episode again last night after a two year break (memory is now wiped clean) on that famous Jeremy Clarkson advertised Amazon little black plastic thingy, with the added assistance of that thing that sounds like a woman's perfume but spelt a bit differently!...you know what I mean?
It's the best TV series ever.

I can play 'dumb' if I want to, in fact who are you to tell me what to do?
But for the record, I was not aware that they had been taken to the ASA for this slogan until I just googled, and glad that they have.

We all have opinions. But I think if this is enough to anger and upset you, then you must live a blessed life. You can choose not to shop there.

I shop there, I just don't see your own problem with people having complaint with advertising standards. Obviously for Poundland to have their slogan as "everything's £1" you would have expected everything to have been £1, and the ASA made them remove it. Personally I am glad the ASA exists....and why the personal slant?
I guess all those complaining about No Man's Sky should 'get a life' too. :smirk:

The guy at the till did say "you know these are £10".
I guess he'd had some customers thinking they were getting a 15 DVD box set for a pound!
