that's a beans-poor attempt at a joke - sadly without a funny bit or laughter moment

Bought these 2 weeks ago and they are brilliant quality. More beans in them than any other brand I've tried although some people may dislike it having less sauce than other brands

Was it the use by or sell by date? If it's the sell by date they should by ok. Though it does depend how many you intend buying of course.
I'm also wondering if it's worth going to get some of too, at this price the shelves will most likely be cleared.

Please check expiry date, I don't trust home bargain, the last time i went there they were selling crisps that expired last month at a reduced rate.
When I asked why they were selling expired crisps i was told that they are allowed to sell it for 1 month after expiry date, I don't know if this is correct?

For any food product the only date to really observe is a 'use by' one that you'll find on highly perishable items like fresh dairy, meat, salads etc. Any 'best before' or 'display until' type codes are advisory and if consumed after the expiry date the food may not be in peak condition, but is highly unlikely to do you any harm at all. There are a number of websites that specifically sell 'out of date' food like crisps, biscuits, confectionery etc for a fraction of the full price.

Yes it is okay on best before dates, I find out of Crisps have more flavour, like they mature with age!!
